Chaplin owned this studio on La Brea Avenue In Hollywood, and most of the films he ever made. He died a very rich man. Laurel and Hardy, and Buster Keaton were contract players, happy to be making a considerable salary when they worked. They never received residuals when their films were revived and sold at a considerable profit to those who owned them. Ah, show biz!
