Just so you know WD40 has Benzene which causes cancer, now you are spraying this across interiors where your hands will be constantly touching them, not a good idea. A simple lubricating liquid/oil around those friction causing parts and wiping off would do the job, the oil just needs get between the friction causing parts.
I was skeptical after watching this video if it is gonna work or not but actually it worked for my Creta. Creaking noise is reduced by almost 80 percent. You just have to spray it well and leave it for sometime then wipe it away. Repeat this imo works better with done twice.
Spray it again and slightly more in each and every joint don't wive it very soon after spray. Wipe the extra liquid coming out after 3 minutes . After that there will be no sound😜. You might have missed some parts I guess
