I see each SNSD members are allocated with diff responsibilities. The 5 main vocals get to sing more in perf and act in musicals. (Except Seo who have not act in a musical yet) The 4 main dancers get to show their dancing skills more (such as dancing in the front for perf) and act in dramas (Except for Hyo who have not act in a drama yet). Can be seen that the better singers mainly take on the role of everything to do with singing while the dancers take on the role of dancing and core acting.

I know it's late but, I think I should give an explanation. Actually, if 2 people born in the same year, regardless of the month, they will be called the same age. That's the case with Yoona and Sooyoung. But, why does Yoona called Sooyoung unnie? It's because Sooyoung is an early 90-liner so she entered school earlier and was the same grade with other GG's 89-liner (TaeSicSunTiffHyoYul), hence Yoona unknowingly called her unnie because of that, and it's sort of became habitual to Yoona. Sooyoung already told her to stop, because they're the same age, but Yoona insisted that it's more comfortable that way since she has done it for a long time. And for the same reason, Sooyoung speak informally towards GG's 89-liner, because they're the same grade with her back then, and didn't call them unnies.
They do have make up artist, but for some reason it takes that long for them to do it. All groups have to get early like that for makeup. Even guy groups.
