    That town's fucked. They wanna live like it's still 1982. I'm guessing Pixley is the reason for no overpass.

      That and budget issues. It would cost a ludicrous amount to build a bridge if that scale (for a town of this scale, around 20k people). The 2 stretches that run through town are roughly 2-3 miles long each, so you see why that would be an issue. It would also cost the 2 railroads lots of money for the lack of traffic on the lines. The BNSF line that runs through Claremore is the only one connecting Tulsa to Kansas (directly of course). The problem with shutting the UP line down is it is the soul provider of coal for the PSO plant in Oologah (town just north east of Claremore about 7-10 miles). Granted, the coal could be delivered from the north, but, almost all traffic heads northbound because of the traffic set-up.
