Incineroar being slow makes sense because he's the slowest Firestarter in Pokemon, but I feel being the slowest was a little too much (especially when noting he's slower than Ganondorf).

Bowser's Up B is -36 on shield, for a rough idea, Ganon's F Smash comes out frame 29, or 33 out of shield and you can only move slightly, meaning the entire cast has safe punishes on whiff. Charizard's Up Smash meanwhile is about -29 (which is still unsafe, but not everyone has a free punish on it), kills, anti aerials, covering more options. As for his up b, it kills earlier, has armor on frame 4, and you can drift to ledge after using it (a common PT trick).
I enjoy playing heavies and I agree with your tier list for the current meta/version of the game. I feel like most people still underestimate Incineroar a lot, but the thing is... He's just THAT strong. Turns the tide of a match in the blink of an eye and is pretty hard to kill.

@Jarrett Powers Incin is not better than DK in every aspect. I disagree with a lot of what you said but Incin being better than DK is definitely the biggest one. He has a better time in neutral due to his better tools (Down B, dash attack, long range tilts, etc), a better advantage state due to his monsterous up and back air, and better range making it easier to keep your enemies at a distance and making it so you don't necessarily have to commit to approaching like Incineroar. His advantage is worse due to his large size and lack of revenge, but less risky to escape thanks to be reverse Bongos, and his edge guarding is way better courtesy of his four spikes and back air.

I'll just respect your opinion and move on, with only a few minor comments. DK definitely beats Incineroar, IDK why you would think otherwise. Even ignoring that Incin simply can't come back from Cargo Carry, DK easily has the best advantage of all the heavies, which Incin can't deal with (no, revenge is too risky to count as a viable option), and gets messed up off stage due to having no good way to deal with back air. Second, DK has far better air and ground speed. Incineroar is the slowest character in the game on the ground and has the 71st best air speed in the game (which is kinda bad), on top of no real noticable disjoints or range, meaning getting in is basically impossible for him. DK meanwhile is 26th in Run Speed and tied for 12th in air speed, meaning getting in is easier for him, his ability to weave in and out are way better (just watch Jordan's video where he tells what he's thinking), his punish game is way more potent, and DK has easily the best advantage state of every heavy. DK kinda sucks when facing his opponent though since he doesnt have a fast forward facing move with decent reach. Though he can mitigate that with using back airs instead or even using down special in the air and on the ground. Though surprisingly DKs recovery doesnt completely suck, it's better than ganondorfs recovery in my experience and counters dont just completely stop dks recovery as he can always time it with a spare jump or adjust his spacing with up special to just narrowly miss the counter and he can use up special quick enough to hit the person before the counter hits. Also DK can straight up just gimp people when they try and challenge his up special. You can also do mix up with a b reverse with down b and snap onto the ledge with side special. Also DK has some pretty stupid super armour with some of his moves and if you down special on the ground against someone's shield, you can get away with shield breaking them after too. though admittedly you can fail with the super armour or they dont challenge it and you get forward smashed. One thing which DK sucks at is being in disadvantage in the air especially, but he can also juggle you like crazy. I'd say DK and incenroar are both pretty equal to each other, I can't really tell which one is better though since the game is just so balanced. Tho incenoroar might be slightly better but I haven't really used him

As DeDeDe, you should have been inhaling to get back to stage, tht move covers all options on platform, reflects, eats moves and sends offstage, a very important tool that neutralises many matchups like Cloud and snake for example.
Honestly, I think K Rool is actually one of the best superheavys now. As time went on he got some decent buffs and he has some useful things. I definitly think he's better than Incin, because that cat's speed is still hurting him so fricking much and probably more versatile than DK, which is pretty useful as well. I'd probably say he's the third best superheavy

Dedede is definitely way higher, absolutely nobody knows how to use him correctly. And I know that's an excuse that's used often, but with D3 its actually true. Not better than Bowser or maybe even Incineroar, but he beats the rest for sure
Dedede is the weakest Super heavy and is slow for now reason Dedede can’t even kill consistently unless you bait for uptilt or make a hard read Gordo is trash anywhere but ledge All but 3 moves are safe on shield and sometimes if the character has good enough frame data they can punish it I may main Dedede but he isn’t that good

@Antoine Wilson This was from a year ago but I still kind of stand by what I had said. I don't think Little Mac is worse but I do think Ganondorf and Little Mac are tied for the worst instead. Even if Ganondorf is worse at least he's more fun to play as and against and doesn't enforce a toxic playstyle. With Little Mac the opponent is always trying to throw you off stage with a back throw and it's really easy to do so. If the Little Mac is really good all you have to do is platform camp. Which leads to a very toxic playstyle. Because Little Mac's ground game is unmatched no character wants to approach leading to extremely campy games that are not enjoyable in the slightest for any player. Ganondorf at least has multiple options to apply pressure on platforms like Up-Smash, Forward-Special, Forward-Smash, and Up-Special.
I'd actually say King K. Rool sits comfortably at 2nd or 3rd best heavy now. The buffs made him absolutely incredible and it performs much better than before. Def mid tier now.

Yes, this man gets it. People hard underestimate Charizard but he has it all. Great OOS (I don't know why Jordan said a frame 6 killing up smash is not that good), excellent ledge trapping courtesy of flamethrower, f tilt, up smash, down tilt, and nair, three kill throws, multiple ledge options, several killing and edge guarding aerials, scary tech chased, and a shockingly good disadvantage when you know how to use b reverse fire breath and tactical flare blitz.

@@slade_pikachu I think there's a lot more than you are making out. A low ground speed sucks, it means that weaving in and out is much harder and baiting out options is far more difficult, and you get less options in advantage. This combined with his low jump height basically means that you have no way to get in and actually land your hits, meaning characters with even a half decent zoning or spacing game can completely wall him out. Combine this with his lack of disjoints and all his moves you can't react to (IE, his aerials, his tilts, etc) requiring you to be basically right next to them makes his approach dangerously obvious. He has an excellent grab game, but he needs to actually grab you for that to work. His hits hurt, but he needs to actually go in and hit you. I stand that my reaction time is god awful, yet even I can react and evade Incineroar fairly easily. There isn't really anything you can do that your enemy can't snuff you out of doing. Combine this with basically no good out of shield options, risky options out of disadvantage, and a subpar recovery, I honestly don't think he is that good. That said, he does have solid frame data and moves, a fantastic grapple game, and terrifying pressure, not to mention insane kill power.

I feel like Incinaroar should MUCH LOWER, either last or second to last imo because of his horrible recovery and not having much good moves, other than that I think this list is pretty accurate
He mentions that inconeroars recovery can be mixed up, while 5 of the other 6 have linear recoveries. Yeah, you can mess up the cats recovery offstage, but most of the other heavies have that problem
It's funny you put Inceneroar at #2 because I was just watchin esam's new 8.0 patch tier list and he put Incen at bottom tier lol. People can obviously have different opinions, but it was just funny to see such a huge difference for the same character

Y'all really like to underrate Incineroar a lot because of speed. Good Incineroars find a way to play around that; to bait and punish. Incineorar has no bad moves and revenge makes all its normals much stronger. As in, nair does 30. People also are saying that Incineroar has a bad recovery, but as Poppt said in the video, "a smart Incineroar player know the angles for the up b, know where to put the side b. And they are not gonna get punished for their recovery at all". It's true mostly, because what a lot of people don't know is that Incineroar can angle up b slightly in and slightly out. Up b can also go through plats if you hold down while Incin is descending. Incineroar is a mid tier character
Very good tierlist, and I love to see Incineroar so high ! But I would honestly DK and Dedede, his gordos are gamebreaker and his recovery is just the best among heavies, while DK is damn predictible and has very difficult mu's
Definitely think Charizard is better than Incinaroar. I main both. Incin struggles with so many match ups and should be much lower on the tier list at least below Zard. Zard has a much easier time in nuetral, disadvantage, kill power, and recovery in general.
Don't get me wrong incin is strong where he is but he has so many glaring weaknesses. He's the slowest character, horrible air speed, any character with projectile still walls him out, and predictable recovery that so many characters take advantage of.
King K Krool is my personally favorite heavy, mainly because he could technically be classified as a zoner, and I only play as hype characters like my main, Olimar

i feel king dedede has a lot of untapped potential all his jumps make him highly versatile, giving him numerous ways to deal with approaching and spacing and because hes unbelievably sexy

Bowser: High tier, great outta shelf options and fast, but ofc he’s a heaving meaning he gets comboed easily, his recovery is trash and he struggles a lot to land a lot and if he was slow like ganon he would still be the best heavy but he’d be low tier as well 2. Charizard: Still quite an easy target but with changing to squirtle and ivysour he is quite decent: Low tier + 3. DK, his recovery is trash and is easy to spike, his heavyweight makes him an easy target. He does still have some great edge guards and mobility, Low tier - 4. King k rool, his projectiles are bad and slow and his recovery is quite bad and punishable and his slow speed makes him an easy target, his armor is good tho and his counter is great , Low tier - 5. King deedee, he has an amazing dash speed but his Gorgos are bad and could easily be used against him, his air speed is so slow making it easy to edge guard him, low tier - 6. Ganondorf: He’s slow his recovery sucks and ofc being big he does get comboed a lot, he does however have an amazing nair, his Ariels are quiet good and his attacks have long range Low tier - 7. Incineroar: His revenge is amazing and side b is great, his Ariels are amazing but he very slow meaning he can’t catch up to his opponent and easily gets camped on by other characters, also being heavyweight he is very easy to combo and his recovery really sucks, he could use side b to get closer to the edge but it’s slow and similar to dk recovery he could get spiked easily, bottom tier

As DeDeDe, you should have been inhaling to get back to stage, tht move covers all options on platform, reflects, eats moves and sends offstage, a very important tool that neutralises many matchups like Cloud and snake for example.
I feel like ddd is on par with k rool and just a little slower than DK but makes up for it with Gordos and recovery

Honestly, I think K Rool is actually one of the best superheavys now. As time went on he got some decent buffs and he has some useful things. I definitly think he's better than Incin, because that cat's speed is still hurting him so fricking much and probably more versatile than DK, which is pretty useful as well. I'd probably say he's the third best superheavy

@@dantec4458 yeah, I love it for trying to win neutral or catching whiffs. If it doesn't hit, it recovers fast enough to basically double as a tomahawk grab, or into any tilt, or into another nair, or spot dodge and punish, so many options. I think the deeds is a little higher on the list.

Poppt1, I don't know what you were thinking about, but come on! K. Rool is way better than Incineroar and DK. Those two characters don't even have projectiles so their neutral is really worst than K. Rool! The frame data of K. Rool is way better than DK's. Incineroar's one is better in general, but he is the slowest character in the game and his recovery and the recovery of DK are in the "Worst in the game" category!
I think K Rool is better than Incineroar but not DK, DK has cargo throw, good up b oos, bair chains, Idk why do you think DK is worse than K Rool, he's only better in online, but K Rool is still good

Yeah Ganondorf is really bad sadly. So bad that some people think he's the worst character in the game and I disagree. While he is top 5 worst characters at least one character is worse than him.

@Antoine Wilson This was from a year ago but I still kind of stand by what I had said. I don't think Little Mac is worse but I do think Ganondorf and Little Mac are tied for the worst instead.
Even if Ganondorf is worse at least he's more fun to play as and against and doesn't enforce a toxic playstyle. With Little Mac the opponent is always trying to throw you off stage with a back throw and it's really easy to do so.
If the Little Mac is really good all you have to do is platform camp. Which leads to a very toxic playstyle. Because Little Mac's ground game is unmatched no character wants to approach leading to extremely campy games that are not enjoyable in the slightest for any player.
Ganondorf at least has multiple options to apply pressure on platforms like Up-Smash, Forward-Special, Forward-Smash, and Up-Special.
I'd actually say King K. Rool sits comfortably at 2nd or 3rd best heavy now. The buffs made him absolutely incredible and it performs much better than before. Def mid tier now.

Yes, this man gets it. People hard underestimate Charizard but he has it all. Great OOS (I don't know why Jordan said a frame 6 killing up smash is not that good), excellent ledge trapping courtesy of flamethrower, f tilt, up smash, down tilt, and nair, three kill throws, multiple ledge options, several killing and edge guarding aerials, scary tech chased, and a shockingly good disadvantage when you know how to use b reverse fire breath and tactical flare blitz.

@@slade_pikachu I think there's a lot more than you are making out. A low ground speed sucks, it means that weaving in and out is much harder and baiting out options is far more difficult, and you get less options in advantage. This combined with his low jump height basically means that you have no way to get in and actually land your hits, meaning characters with even a half decent zoning or spacing game can completely wall him out. Combine this with his lack of disjoints and all his moves you can't react to (IE, his aerials, his tilts, etc) requiring you to be basically right next to them makes his approach dangerously obvious. He has an excellent grab game, but he needs to actually grab you for that to work. His hits hurt, but he needs to actually go in and hit you. I stand that my reaction time is god awful, yet even I can react and evade Incineroar fairly easily. There isn't really anything you can do that your enemy can't snuff you out of doing. Combine this with basically no good out of shield options, risky options out of disadvantage, and a subpar recovery, I honestly don't think he is that good.
That said, he does have solid frame data and moves, a fantastic grapple game, and terrifying pressure, not to mention insane kill power.

I feel like Incinaroar should MUCH LOWER, either last or second to last imo because of his horrible recovery and not having much good moves, other than that I think this list is pretty accurate
His moves are good, his mobility and recovery aren't tho
He mentions that inconeroars recovery can be mixed up, while 5 of the other 6 have linear recoveries. Yeah, you can mess up the cats recovery offstage, but most of the other heavies have that problem
Also the power up he gets from revenge can get removed if he gets grabbed
While I agree that he should be much lower, his down tilt is pretty damn broken, the only reason it’s not good is because it’s on incineroar lol

Incineroar is my favorite heavy, he is slow but revenge makes him one of the scariest to go against. One wrong move and you’re dead.

Y'all really like to underrate Incineroar a lot because of speed. Good Incineroars find a way to play around that; to bait and punish. Incineorar has no bad moves and revenge makes all its normals much stronger. As in, nair does 30. People also are saying that Incineroar has a bad recovery, but as Poppt said in the video, "a smart Incineroar player know the angles for the up b, know where to put the side b. And they are not gonna get punished for their recovery at all". It's true mostly, because what a lot of people don't know is that Incineroar can angle up b slightly in and slightly out. Up b can also go through plats if you hold down while Incin is descending. Incineroar is a mid tier character

Definitely think Charizard is better than Incinaroar. I main both. Incin struggles with so many match ups and should be much lower on the tier list at least below Zard. Zard has a much easier time in nuetral, disadvantage, kill power, and recovery in general.
Don't get me wrong incin is strong where he is but he has so many glaring weaknesses. He's the slowest character, horrible air speed, any character with projectile still walls him out, and predictable recovery that so many characters take advantage of.

1. Bowser: High tier, great outta shelf options and fast, but ofc he’s a heaving meaning he gets comboed easily, his recovery is trash and he struggles a lot to land a lot and if he was slow like ganon he would still be the best heavy but he’d be low tier as well
2. Charizard: Still quite an easy target but with changing to squirtle and ivysour he is quite decent: Low tier +
3. DK, his recovery is trash and is easy to spike, his heavyweight makes him an easy target. He does still have some great edge guards and mobility, Low tier -
4. King k rool, his projectiles are bad and slow and his recovery is quite bad and punishable and his slow speed makes him an easy target, his armor is good tho and his counter is great , Low tier -
5. King deedee, he has an amazing dash speed but his Gorgos are bad and could easily be used against him, his air speed is so slow making it easy to edge guard him, low tier -
6. Ganondorf: He’s slow his recovery sucks and ofc being big he does get comboed a lot, he does however have an amazing nair, his Ariels are quiet good and his attacks have long range

7. Incineroar: His revenge is amazing and side b is great, his Ariels are amazing but he very slow meaning he can’t catch up to his opponent and easily gets camped on by other characters, also being heavyweight he is very easy to combo and his recovery really sucks, he could use side b to get closer to the edge but it’s slow and similar to dk recovery he could get spiked easily, bottom tier
