Did you cut the hood down on the non adapted smock and also what’s the best way to cut it down?

Matt yeah I cut down both the hoods. I literally just got a pair of tailoring scissors or trauma shears and cut along the line between the hood and the peak which holds the wire. It’s really simple you just need to get a lighter afterwards and burn down all the threads

How did you make your para cuffs Fit the smoke where did you salvage the material from ?

I bought the cuffs on eBay. I measure out the length of the cuff against the length of the sleeve and cut off the old cuff and some of the sleeve. I then attached the cuff by sewing inside out and then folded it over on itself to make a smaller para cuff which makes the sleeve sit straight and tidy and also keeps me nice and warm in the colder months

@@allykitreview121 did you sew these on by hand or by a machine how did you sew the pockets on your sleeves did you do this by hand

I mainly used the machine however needed to do a bit of touching up and securing by hand. If I remember rightly I did the same thing for the pockets. I attempted to make them from scratch and used a machine to put them on then hand stitches to tidy it up
