In England's Top 5 Keepers at the minute just misses out on the WC but if he keeps up the form in the PL next season he can certainly get back into the squad. I hope he can do that, I'd love to see him get another opportunity with England after the nightmare game against Croatia.
I think it was to fit the homegrown rule where every Prem club needs a certain amount of players who have played in England for a certain number of years
