The problem little mix had with their label was that Simon Cowell also had fifth harmony and one direction under that same label. He chose to promote fifth harmony and especially one direction in America while completely ruining the opportunity to push little mix in America when they got their first American hit with black magic. It was just stupid to not capitalize on that opportunity, so stupid.
So, each girl is representing one decade... from the 60's to 90's... related to everything... set, colors, costumes, fashion style... and I'm totally here for it and Jade putting drag queens there is just awesome. Love her so frickin much

Now, she has very little support from her original fan base. Besides that, these girls are amazing vocalists and don't get me started on their HARMONIES!!! Some good live performances that would be great to see you watch are, in my opinion: - Going Nowhere, Live in SiriusXM. This would take you back to their beginnings, a decade old song and one of my favorites! - Woman Like Me, Live at the 2019 BRIT awards. This song originally features Nicki Minaj, but they invited another artist to perform. - Confetti Acoustic Version. This song actually has 3 versions: The first version being with Jesy, the second one came after Jesy left the group and Saweetie did a rap verse on the song and also de production was improved, and then the Acoustic version where Perrie, Leigh and Jade take you to heaven with their voices. - Between Us, Live at The Graham Norton Show. Very emotional for the girls and us mixers. This song is so powerful and holds a ton of meaning for us. Much love! Great reactions🥰
Power was actually produced by a few pop producers, no one EDM specific! Little Mix do have actual Dance collabs tho, with Cheat Codes, Nathan Dawe and David Guetta :)) I’d say the global “EDM boom” happened more in the early 2010’s with Avicii’s rise, and LMFAO’s two big hits! But Dance music is to the UK what RnB is to the US- the secondary popular genre, significantly pioneered by our black population and loved by the working class. Most pop artists will have their go at a Dance collab at least once in their career, sorta tradition at this point! Since it’s considered a very white genre to a lot of folks these days, like rock and metal, it can get lost on people that the invention of the Jungle genre (huge for black women in the UK) led to Drum and Bass, and Grime, leading to even development in our hip hop sphere, but with the rise of PinkPantheress on your side of the pond I hope to see more of these folks get the cred they deserve, globally!!
You dropped all facts! Right when I said 2016 or whatever I was like hold up, I remember listening to Cinema by Skrillex in like 2012 and like you said it was around even before that. That's just when I remember the masses here in the States really gravitate towards it. I'm gonna have to check out some of their songs with those artists you mentioned. Thanks for the knowledge!
