The Hatsan Piledriver (already shipping) has more power and better shot count than the umarex ghost gun. I bet that's the same rifle I've seen in every video. Three years after advertising the ghost is still out of stock.

So far both Umarex guns I got didn’t work properly out of the box and got sent back for repair only to be told they would require custom work and I would have to pay for it. ???That Hammer has been all over the world by now and in dozens of different hands...I agree totally with you. I ended up buying the seneca Dragon Claw but after checking out the FPE it only had like 250 and was like what!? So I wanted the most powerful production airgun for hunting. Three made the claim and their numbers are all very similar. Airforce Texan, Umarex hammer and your Piledriver. I was leaning toward the Texan because its American made but they were out, then I looked at the other two. The Pile Driver was $400 more and I liked the two shot clip design of the hammer, so it was finally available on Amazon I have one and OMG! This thing kicks like a mule and sounds like a traditional firearm. How do you like the PIledriver?
The Piledriver is powerful without a doubt but the accuracy of the Texan is amazing. I shoot long distance with my rifles and with the Texan .457 SS 24" barrel I have been able to hit targets at 711 yards with .350 grains slugs from VIPellets and Nielsen's at about 850 fps , 3600psi fill . I also bought the AEA Challenger in .303 cal. It's also amazingly accurate . With Mr.Hollowpoint's 98 grains slugs at 1000 fps with a 4500 psi fill. About 218 FPE . I hit targets up to 600 yards at the Los Angeles shooting range. Good stuff. Enjoy your shooting.

Umarex guns are ok and pretty accurate but the company, customer service and warranty service from my experience are lacking in customer concerns and service. “IF” we could actually get our hands on one, myself, that 50 cal barrel is gone and a 9mm barrel and 40 and even 45 would be in its place. Screw their warranty anyway. Anything they screwed up on before you got they will deem as needing custom work and send it back still messed up or in worse shape than when you originally shipped it to them. Custom work costs money and apparently so does a working gun out of the box.

I need to know more about this guy, and I'm going to be going to be getting my ammo from this gentleman. How.much does one of those mufflers cost? One more thing. Can a hand pump work with this thing? Those electric pumps are too darn expensive for me.
Were the slugs sized or as dropped? Seems the 385 and 445 were nearly the same speed. Seems odd for such a weight difference. I have an M-lock bi-pod on mine. Emailing you for an order of a few slugs to test.

Yes I know it is a heavy beast but shoots great off a rest,being a heavy gun,it recoils less it is not too much for any average shooter. I am somewhat accurate off hand on shoulder. The fact of being a seven shot repeater sold me.. With enough energy to take any quarry I will ever take. I need to contact MR Hollowpoint to see what is available to fit the Hercules mag.. Any other Hercules fans out there that would like MrHollow point to suit them?? My mag length is 16mm. Would like some spitzer style slugs.. I hope all is well.

That 700 fpe is also being made without a suppressor on the gun, the suppressor could be restricting the gun of its power. All guns are different, some guns will gain power with a suppressor and some guns will lose power with a suppressor.

This rifle looks like a real POS!!! The barrel is anchored by 7/8" of support, that's it, so it literally floats. It's also 'screwed' in, and has no other support. Plastic parts --- check the scope rail. Again, NO SUPPORT!!! I'm going with the AF Texan LSS .50 cal. or, a semi auto AEA Terminator .357.

Hammer is best with out one, I never had great success with the sound reduction.

Mrs manners says one should always size one's slugs before leaving the house.
The 445 is ribbed for very little contact in the barrel, but I can't claim that's the reason.
