I’d say pan Asian is my second favorite (my first being axis because I like strong units) pan Asian was just really hard to learn, because I’m so used to power or a lot of good units for ally doctrine, pan Asian is just really fun to mess around with and get everyone mad

Hi I love your videos I plan to play as Japan of Philippines so, given that those are nation Islands should I develop first the navy or try to invade continental Asia as fast as possible given Pan Asian doctrine is very good in early game, meaning that I can expand faster the firsts days of game. What do you think?
Produce navy and air in your cores and conquer a foothold on the mainland as fast as possible. You can use battleships to cover your units.

Whenever you play Pan Asian, you always build a full navy. I usually don't build a navy to save research resources so I can invest in other units and bulidings.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of this strategy?
If you have a coastline then you need to protect yourself against an invasion. The island states will come poking and the Americans too. If you want to take out those island states and protect your coast then you need a navy.
What naval units should place to protect me from naval invasion? Especially to counter transport convoys
With Pan Asian doctrine naval bombers are the most effective.

I am puzzled about the tank destroyer versus anti tank gun choice, since anti tank gun is unarmored like infantry so good damage sharing, Tank destroyer is heavy armor and has research time malus. Since the doctrine doesnt use heavy armor its a bit of an odd choice, unless its an economic reason, they require no goods. Personally I would feel that artillery, infantry and anti tank guns should be able to do the job, and avoid plains for that reason.
Could you explain why the tank destroyer is added in?
Firstly Pan Asian has no bonusses at all for heavy armoured units. They heavily depend on early game unarmoured and light armoured units.
Secondly Pan Asian is a very goods depending doctrine. AC, LT, infantry, artillery, anti air, air force,...
Thirdly TD have the double amount of hitpoints compared to AT and they are faster. As they have more hitpoints they deal more damage by consequence. This is not a luxury as the Comintern neighbors get MT and HT bonuses.
@@BMfoxCallofWar THX for the answer. They deal the same damage (day wise on availability), but standing alone indeed TD survives longer. But if your anti tank gun is coupled to infantry/militia and/or anti air guns it will be more effective, surviving longer due damage 100% sharing. Heavy tanks (intelligent people use that?) also suffer from being ineffective against unarmored.
The mobility argument, especially with Pan-asian I can understand perfectly well.
The goods depending argument is also very valid, but developing economy fast (for providing goods) "converts" oil, steel and rares into goods, so that could be part of the solution, but using commitern without tanks this poses the same issue.
But I will keep these arguments in mind when I will first play pan-asian. I first want to gather my last top tiers of units on small maps (1 or 2 games more), and an even better understanding of the different doctrines, amongst others thanks to your video's.
I wish there was more pan Asian in more maps.
Actually I used Both Comintern And Pan Asian Doctrine... I have 4 Japan Account and 2 Soviet Account.. main Things Is That I always Prefer to Attack Netherland First then Siam,Australia,Newzealand... In Land I attack Manchu Then start Training Artillery... Does Battleship have Bonus In Pan Asian Doctrine now? What You Think about who is Good Germany or Japan?
The last time that I've played a historical was in the Classic era so I'm no judge. All doctrines are good, it's rather the player that is the variable as he needs to exploit the advantages of his doctrine. Pan Asian battleships get a bonus indeed.

I guess you have been playing the 22 player Clash of Nations map? As there are no more tutorial maps, all new players start on the Clash of Nations map by default. By consequence, there's a high inactivity rate on that map.
You don't answer my question, I've been playing since 2015, I'm level 129.
@@francoisrenaito6933 we'll you didn't answer my questions, I can only reply with the information that I have. You were pretty vague. It all depends what map you play. Some maps are more active than others. Clash of nations is notorious for its beginners and seal clubbers. Historic World War is known for its inactivity and noob players as it's unbalanced,... About the accounts, the players you see in the ranking are global. The ranking combines all players from all of the language servers. Of course a fair amount of those are sleeping and abandoned accounts from players that have moved on to other games. Does that answer the question?
@@BMfoxCallofWar I see thousands of new accounts of all levels, there are even several general of the armies that there was only one, I understand that they are no longer playing but there are too many accounts, even in my alliance players lieutenants and first lieutenants I see them now colonel and brigadiel general in the last 8 months, there are no players but something happens that there is more XP will it be more operators?
@@francoisrenaito6933 with the launch of 1.5 Bytro has launched a huge marketing offensive. In classic you could only gather XP by killing player units and construction. In 1.5 version also AI kills count for XP. Not only that units can be produced 5 times faster. By result the armies are larger in the game. So the kills are increased per game which makes 1.5 players climb the ranks way faster than in the old days.

Same as any other doctrine. Infantry, AT, AA

@@powerdude6835 big RRG and artillery stacks become obsolete in the late game once the nuclear race starts.
