I know you were at Grand Teton, but I just read that up the road there were 837,499 recreational visits to Yellowstone National Park, the park's busiest September ever. Now I see why you were so excited to find a camping spot!
That makes sense. Although Yellowstone is pretty spread out so it didn't seem to bad to me. Grand Teton seemed more crowded. It's been pretty difficult trying to predict crowds this year, with Covid
