I think they all represent a form of abuse/bullying.

J.Seph is cyberbullying
Jiwoo is verbal abuse
Somin (not sure) might be school violence?
So the shots where they are being tortured is them torturing themselves because they started to believe the words/actions people spewed at them. The other shots is from before they gave up on themselves and when they only just exposed themselves to the abuse and tried to fight it. All of them end up dying from the torture except for Jiwoo, she then sees herself from before all of the torture and she decides to kill herself so she wouldn't have to deal with the upcoming torture.

This is a song that reflects the times Idols are living. Raw and powerful, a cry for help translated into music. It reflects the battle between the idol facade that every one sees vs the real human being. The real person, the one with the wounds, kills the facade at the end. I only hope that Korea starts seeing mental help as a necessity and not a burden, not only for the idols, but for the society all.

I think the thing about KARD though is that they have a massive overseas fanbase, but in Korea it is pretty small which makes wins difficult . . . I wish that they could get first win, but I also think that we should remember that wins on the Korean music shows do not reflect their overall success!

It is a comeback with a very important message about the power of words, verbal abuse and many others that we can pass on.
*Theories*
Jiwoo represents abuse in a dependency relationship, in any type of relationship, be it romantic, friendship, any type.
And she shoots the old version of herself at the end as a representation that she left the addiction, overcame the trauma of this type of relationship.
Bm represents the abuse that Toxic Masculinity imposes on men, a barrier in the way of showing feelings, so he does not know how to deal with them and destroys everything around him.
Somin represents as much as the verbal abuse of people, that their words are as sharp as a pencil. It is also like her decision to write her own way and leave toxic words behind, since she has the power to write her stories on her hands (representation of the sharp pencil she holds)
J. Seph represents how people hide behind profiles on the internet and judge people and spread toxic comments and don't realize that it hurts people. There is this wave of hate for idol and their fandons as well. And that haters feel they belong to participating in a group of haters on the internet but that these people only reflect how unhappy they are.

Somin said on her TH-cam channel that she couldn’t eat and had lost her appetite due to how much stress she was under and BM said on his podcast he felt a lot of anxiety, feelings he wasn’t good enough and a panic attack. sorry but jiwoo is one of the best idols in the whole industry. (imo she's a top tier along with seulgi tho). the vibe and energy she shares and reflects is unique, also an amazing main rapper, main dancer and lead vocalist periodt. her charisma is always on point too, she never seems tired, she enjoys her job and she's just so captivating. i have no words to describe her anymore but she's a whole full package and an entire treasure indeed
