@@happywoodworking This has to be most unique TH-cam comment I’ve ever seen! From mom/MIL! How cool! Just another reason I enjoy y’all’s channel so much! I’ve always loved Adirondack chairs……… that is until I have to get out of one! Leave it to the Woodsongs crew to innovate! Thanks for all the effort you two put into this channel! You make TH-cam a better place! (BTW, I dislike jigsaws also!!)

@@tomt9543 Thanks, Tom! It's people like you who keep us going. Hope you get to spend some time in a great chair as the weather gets warmer.

I finally got to see the best video of heavy duty chair project. This is what I have been looking for. In my opinion knotty just at more character to the chair. Awesome job 👌

Hals Wood Shop. It came out nice. I like that it will sit high rather than the low seat of many Adirondack chairs. Good explanations.! On another chair pick seat pieces with no knots, no one wants to sit on a knot that may bleed. Hard to seal. Sign of your skill.. They get easier after a few more. I am on number 20 since many were wedding presents, only sold a few. Thanks.

Awesome advice! Thank you so much for watching and sharing ☺️ P.S. - any tips for finding good quality pine? We have such a difficult time...

@@happywoodworking I have moved a lot and our first home the local lumberyard bought > #2 select pine....really spoiled me not knowing better a small price difference but an 8 ft had only 1 or 2 knots. And you could choose your boards. Whoa ! my later moves, My wife is a Minister, I was pressed to shop more the big box stores. Almost worth my time to drive the 30 miles back to old home. ? Any woodworkers near you to share where they buy? I have bought #1 for only some trim or doors. There is a rule about 10% waste and this may be it...cannot make the best project with what we can buy. Your workshop is coming along, your Nitch now is easy and low key, Best Wishes from Arizona.

Wow that is so nice and absolutely awesome but I don't have any fancy tools except circular saw and jigsaw, no mitre saw

Thanks for watching. You can probably build one with the tools you have. You might have to change a few things, but it will probably work. Happy Woodworking!
