You really produce some of the most pleasant videos on the internet. Amazing how you manage all that has to be done and still have time to film, edit, upload and then go off to visit the local attractions. Also a big thumbs up to William for being such a nice kid ;-)
Hi guys, well as I said to you this morning sat 3/9/22 Vic, been watching from day one so it was a pleasure to finally catch up with you both. You do superb blogs , you make us laugh with you and you both have a great attitude to what you want and where you want be in life.William has the cutest smile and I can no officially say YES ! the Lemon Drizzle is to die for. Oh yeah I’m the one selling the small Narrowboat for a liveaboard thanks to you both unbeknown to you convincing my wife to be in 27 days to live on a Narrowboat. Hope to see you again sometime. Cheers Dave & Deb
I was absolutely delighted with this vlog. I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. My mother was born in Tamworth. So very neat to see part of it. She came to Canada at nine months old, with my grandparents. That was in 1927. I am into family history and have traced my grandfathers family back to the late 1700’s….still living in the area…..Polesworth, and all the small villages around Tamworth. Living history! So, you see you feed many interests! Have always enjoyed your vlogs, but this one was special for me. ☺️ Thank you!
Your former media careers sure are serving your channel well‼️💯😎🤩 Production quality is so fun & all three of you are a real delight to follow‼️ Makes me crave a Lemon Drizzle‼️🌞💃🦢🪶🇬🇧 cheers from Kentucky USA 🇺🇸
You two are great parents. Little William always has a smile and that's no coincidence. He is experiencing an amazing life. Well done you!. Love Dave and Rach (Narrowboat Holly!!!)....(yep really!). X
Moving from place to place to trade is a lot of work for you guys with 2 boats a canoe and a baby, quite the operation .You do it all with never a moan but with lots of smiles ,love William's fascination and smile particularly with all those balls on the railings .I guess he thinks they are just toys.. Great vlog happy cruising and profitable trading. Take care and happy cruising. Cheers from sunny Canada
Once again you done it. You've gone and made me smile, laugh a little and let me know everything's going to be ok with Holly The Cafe Boat on the scene. I love watching you Day in the life shows. Stay groovy and stay safe. PS I love that coffee cup with the bug on it.
Made our year seeing you all yesterday, thank you so much for taking the time to chat and for allowing us to hold beautiful William. Safe travels and hopefully see you again soon. Phil & Wendy xxx
Love your videos….so relaxing to watch. We are ‘once a year’ canal boaters….love that you can get away to quiet places in the countryside, amidst wildlife that cars cannot access….and life feels ‘uncluttered’. William is delightful !
William is at that lovely age when he is starting to learn how to do things. Love it when kiddies get to this age, my grandson(nearly 14 months old) does all sorts of new things now, waving, clapping, shaking his head, high fives and nearly all at the right time. Have a lovely week.
There after 5:50 where Jo says "Vic's got us on some kind of healthy eating mission" that inspired a thought, I can see it now, a children's book series, "Vic Mission, Narrowboat Adventurer". 😁
William is getting more animated as the weeks go by....such a cute smile loved the bit where he was touching all the balls on the railing. I really can't imagine maneuvering the two boats. Y'all do a great job. Thanks for the tour in the little village. Have a Blessed day.
Please check your MPPT instructions. I think your battery capacity should be the total amp hours of your batteries combined not the capacity of one battery. I think you have five 120AH, therefore, if running 12 volts, your capacity is 600.
Ian , you are correct, I've fit Solar Systems to two Narrowboats over the years. And yes it's the full Battery Bank that the controller needs to recognise. 👍
And, if your MPPT is controlling the load it should turn off the fridge and other loads on a bad solar day once the batteries get to a low flat level, this then protects the batteries.
What a fun and uplifting glimpse into a week on the move! I must take issue with one editing choice, however... relegating William waving "bye-bye" to the blooper reel seems to be a lost opportunity for a killer outro!😆🤣😁
I have to say, this one just got my heart. ❤️ William is a handsome little one. I just love when he smiles. He is such a happy baby. When the ducks left and her started crying, aww my heart. I just love watching you guys. Thank you for sharing your life with us ❤️💙❤️
Smashing video thanks for inviting us into your lovely life. William is growing up fast and has really taken to Canal Boat life style. Dave B. Thailand.
Excellent video. I like the technical side of narrow boating and William gives it a soft edge of cuteness overload. OMG He's growing so fast. Have an awesome week and I hope it will be a bit more relaxing.
William is just so cute, and watching him enjoy his surroundings is adorable. Re the fridge problem, not sure of the stock value written off when this happens but there are remote wireless fridge alarms on the market. It maybe could be possible to rig something up to a warning on your phone?
😊🤗nice vlog love that you are travelling in a mini flotilla or group. Nice to have company and it should attract more customers. Sharing of ideas and solutions to problems can be a big help. Little William is a cutie pie and a happy little chappy.
Tamworth is an important part of English History..🏴 Saxon stronghold Tamworth was the principal centre of royal power of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdom of Mercia during the 8th and 9th centuries. It hosts a simple but elevated 12th century castle, a well-preserved medieval church (the Church of St Editha) and a Moat House.
I love following your life journey. Thanks for sharing. I feel I have an extended family as I look forward to seeing and listening what your family is doing. Stay safe and please keep sharing 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Lovely video love to see how you manage with the baby I went through a similar life only mine was a snack bar on the beach with two small boys who are now 54 and 47 and we only retired last year at 82 and 74 so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did xx
Well just had to let uou know I have just binged watched all your videos over the last week! I love them and now my Hubby always asks me to turn up the volume when you are on. Your gentle humour is such a joy to watch so credit to the 2 of you. William is absolutely gorgeous and that smile! Thank you for sharing your journey with us xxx
Great to see you at Fradley Junction, don't know about you Vic, but even though I was sheltering under those trees whilst waiting on the Lock, I got absolutely drenched. Hope you've had some success at gaining at least a Slice of Lemon Drizzle Cake. All the Very Best to You All 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧 Hopefully see you again soon.
Love watching your videos it’s so interesting watching you manage everything family life and cafe and canal and to think of you filming and then editing on top of all of that…..wow thanks for posting 👏🙂👍
We have a Tamworth in New south Wales in Australia,it's country music capital of Australia. Its got a giant Golden coloured guitar in town. They have awards every year called the golden guitar. And I live in western australia and have never been to Tamworth.
Love your videos they always make me smile. William is the absolute cutest. Like it when you give a tour of the towns and the country side. Thanks for sharing. 🙏😊 Kathy
Wonderful video. Thanks for making and posting. We know it's still early, but have you thought about William's schooling already? Sending him to a land-locked school, would probably mean a boarding school. But that is of coarse not what you would prefer. Alternative would be "home-schooling", but that might ask some preparation from your side. Maybe something to spend some thinking and discussion on?
Thank you for taking us to Tamworth - I knew it was an important town in the Kingdom of Mercia but not how lovely it is. Bill is growing up so fast - not too long until he will be toddling'☺
Hi Jo, Vic and little Bill So lovely to see you in a flotilla with Kay. Many moons ago Kay kindly met up with me, a keen watcher of canal/narrowboat vlogs, at Crick Boat Show and subsequently took me for a lovely cruise on Pea Green in the early days of Kay’s refurbishment of the boat. This made me realise just what was possible on a narrowboat, if you have the determination and right temperament. I have yet to manage to get my own boat, which is likely to be nearer to retirement, but wanted to thank yourselves and Kay for keeping that burning desire so strong within myself. Continue enjoying your wonderful lives. Take care, stay safe and keep those wonderful smiles, they light up my week. Best wishes Helen Barron (and Barney the dog 🐕🦺)
hats off too you three! great vlog this week and I'm so delighted at seeing william so much! he is growing so big! Please keep making the vlogs We all enjoy them so much and best wishs an hope you have a grand week!
Thanks for another entertaining video . Love William trying out the Ballard Tops , and being Captain on the Tiller .. Do try to stick with the no Bread Diet. You will feel a lot healthier ( if you don’t eat too many Crisps ! ) .
You are such a charming couple - and with your very handsome, cheerful son 'n heir. Thoroughly enjoyed the float-along, quite a different view from that of NYC out of my 18/F window. Thank you very much!
OMG, William is so cute in this video! ❤- Vic, don't forget now that you have removed a battery you will be down 1536 watt/hrs on capacity if you are running off grid!
Thank you for giving me a few of my first laughs of the day! Brilliant video! I LOL when Vic had Wills on the till and said he would likely end up being being one of those boasting fella's...! LOL! You two are blossoming into awesome merchants, efficient cafe owners, and wonderful parents and partners! You both seem to take everything in stride (even with your battery problems...can you get a battery alarm somehow rigged up to your phone?), and little William is absolutely gorgeous. Get that baby into advertising! 👶LOL. I thought I saw Ben and Emily sitting at your cafe which is great because they are another two of my fav's. Cheers for your creativity and beautiful videos! 😘😘😘
This is an absolutely amazing video, :) A true inspiration for not only me, but also for many of us. Myself, I have been thinking about living on a boat for the past few years, and somehow life always gets in the way. But the truth is, you provide us with the inspiration of putting your mind to the plan, and it will come to you, :) So thank you a lot for the amazing inspiration and creativity to share with us. Sending you much love and wishing you the best on your journey :)
Back in Alrewas, it was 20th June when I bumped into you cycling on the towpath!! Glad the journey is progressing well and that you're managing to get in a few trading days, take care guys, Kevin
Been following your adventures for a while and can't believe I missed meeting you at Alrewas.....I had a stall in the Crown pub car park called Salty Seas, lots of coastal art and design goodies
This has been a very interesting video. I was curious if you are allowed to have an electric/propane powered fridge in a narrowboat? I noticed my neighbor had one in his fun hauler trailer (caravan). William was cute waving to Jo 12:14.
What can I say you three guys? Brilliant video , ( this guy told me where to go , could be painful ) very funny, don’t think you knew what you said 😂😂 Good luck With your lives together, work hard as you do and it’ll work out . Love you all and what you do 👍🤣x

8:05 "Heading into town to get a coffee" - you should check out that cafe next door which keeps following you around.
So cute to see Williams smile. You do extremely well managing two boats with a baby with a business 👍💐💐

I LOVE the subtle humor of the sad violins coming to play as Jo finds her chocolate inedible and Vic pumps expensive diesel.
... And lose their freezer content (again)...

Wonderful vlog! Your travel with a mix of three "floaters" and some walkabouts is really nice. Thank you
Strange. I know where you are.
I used to drive through Tamworth about 10.30 every night driving a truck from east midlands airport to castle vale.
That was before they built the m42. Around early 80s
Holly Reunited, and it feels so good her battery’s flat but we understood
There's one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it
We both are so excited 'cause we're reunited
Ha Ha Learning by bad experience is not the best way to learn. I learnt that the hard way by experience!!!!
The Montezuma black cherry chocolate is lovely it is often on Clubcard offer in Tesco. Great vlog xxx
I so enjoy your videos - you are both so laid back and always take each day as it comes - good or bad. I suspect William will grow up with that attitude as well! Looks good on ya!
Another fun ride. Thanks
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Greetings from New Zealand. Just subscribed as I was so taken with your adventure. Geez, the cost of diesel is shocking.
Oh my goodness! Bill is such a happy kiddo and you guys seem so well and happy. This is lovely!
Shame I missed you in Tamworth 😅 it's very beautiful in the old part of town.
