They brought the extra food out to the kitchen. They suggested we eat the pie. I asked "Why? What's wrong with it?". They said "Don't worry about it." xD
I'm pretty sure it was because some of the guys started getting up of their seats but still said stuff that worked for the video, so the only way to keep that and the voices of the people with mics was to use both audio tracks. I think they just avoided the trouble of cutting the audio tracks in those specific parts (which is really a lot of trouble by the way)
Gotta say I REALLY liked this idea for some reason. Just something bout blending the game and real life together as well as being creative is pretty damn awesome.

Because that's a lot more food than it seems, and presumably doesn't taste good. The chicken was greasy, the pie was gross, the cake was heavy, the apples were warm, the Slim Jims were spicy, the potatoes were bad, and the bread... well, half a loaf is honestly a lot more to eat than you'd think, at least when trying to eat fast and knowing you'll have to eat a lot more later. The cookies and carrots were likely the easiest and tastiest things there, but since they filled next to no in-game hunger (and nobody even got carrots), they'd be better off gritting their teeth and baring it with the other foods. Plus, everything had been sitting out for an hour or so, and therefore wasn't cold or even hot, just a disgusting lukewarm.
I actually like the fact that Matt and Jeremy were put in to replace a missing Jack and Michael. The reason I like it is because this is sort of revenge on Geoff's part. Geoff went down with a fight. He made the new guys suffer with him by making them eat as much as he did. But honestly, I would have liked to see Michael be there because I know Michael would eat it no matter what. Also, Gavin with the pumpkin pie on his hand made me laugh way too hard.

The actual reason the button stopped working, if anyone cares, is that the arrow that ray shot into it is still in the button and keeps the button in the powered position. They needed to wait until that arrow despawnes to shoot the button again.
I think they forgot to turn off the audio coming from the phone recording because the echo only happens to the people in front of the camera. So yeah, editing error.
rooster teeth are gaining new viewers all the time and its smart to give the newer employees 'air time' so people arnt just 'hating' them because they are new; its not fair on them and i am a long term fan and i acc do like them.
I have no problems with Matt or Jeremy, they're fine. Kdin sucks though, Kdin is fucking awful and I don't appreciate anything he adds to the video because it's terrible.
It seems like over the past couple months a significant amount of their videos have suffered from one or more of these problems... I've recently started disliking some of the videos that were particularly bad, in the hope that they change something.
mattsucks6 there definitely seems to be a complacency in their videos lately, like before if a video was particularly bad they wouldn't put it out (eg the Magic lets play) then they realised they could make money off the shit videos by calling it a 'Let's Fail' but now they just release everything they film regardless of quality, then make a video about how we should be greatful for it. they can only pull this shit for so long before the fanbase run out of patience and turn to other TH-camrs, which is what i've found myself doing more and more lately.
I will say that their gratuitous disgust for what was otherwise basic foods was kind of annoying. Gavin was trying to do his part to be funny I think. The game itself could of been better considered, yes.

it's a North American thing, although celebrated on different days depending on if you're from the US or Canada. Canada does it when the harvest is finishing, a bit before Halloween, while the US does it in the middle of winter. both do it for essentially the same reasons, though, with it starting back when they slaughtered the natives and took their land (or, I guess, just before they did that...)

rooster teeth are gaining new viewers all the time and its smart to give the newer employees 'air time' so people arnt just 'hating' them because they are new; its not fair on them and i am a long term fan and i acc do like them.
I have no problems with Matt or Jeremy, they're fine. Kdin sucks though, Kdin is fucking awful and I don't appreciate anything he adds to the video because it's terrible.

what a great idea ruined by poor enthusiasm, commentary, personality, editing, general lack of rules...
It seems like over the past couple months a significant amount of their videos have suffered from one or more of these problems... I've recently started disliking some of the videos that were particularly bad, in the hope that they change something.

there definitely seems to be a complacency in their videos lately, like before if a video was particularly bad they wouldn't put it out (eg the Magic lets play) then they realised they could make money off the shit videos by calling it a 'Let's Fail' but now they just release everything they film regardless of quality, then make a video about how we should be greatful for it. they can only pull this shit for so long before the fanbase run out of patience and turn to other TH-camrs, which is what i've found myself doing more and more lately.
I will say that their gratuitous disgust for what was otherwise basic foods was kind of annoying. Gavin was trying to do his part to be funny I think. The game itself could of been better considered, yes.

it's a North American thing, although celebrated on different days depending on if you're from the US or Canada. Canada does it when the harvest is finishing, a bit before Halloween, while the US does it in the middle of winter. both do it for essentially the same reasons, though, with it starting back when they slaughtered the natives and took their land (or, I guess, just before they did that...)

That echo in almost every video is getting pretty annoying. And before you yell at me for having an opinion, would you expect this kind of audio from a tv show? It's there jobs to make it work right.

Not going to lie, i dislike those people who hate the new guys. listen they are funny in their own way. I think they got a job they enjoy and we should be happy for them!
