I've been wondering how an open diff Monster Truck would handle deep mud.. and I was very surprised by the outcome. With enough speed and torque the truck floated across it almost every single time.. only near the end.. there was a surprise!!

wow that got pretty toasty! I am thinking that the loading of the mud caused a mosfet to short out, and with no fuses something had to blow!
I love seeing the trucks getting used for what they are designed for. Can't beat the capability of what these trucks can do. It is cheaper and just as fun as full scale without the cost of repairs. The power to weight ratio is incredible with the ability to throw mud, sand and filth as far as they do. best fun you can have on a low budget.
This reminds me of watching full scale mud bog racing back in the 90s so cool
Love the the mud flying around! Smoke Show was the bonus!
nice smoke show Medic you know that is why electronics cost so much they have to try and keep all that smoke in there for the customer to get to have fun and see it roll out!!

I owned a Cen Nemesis back in the day & the nitro was fun but lovin the power & torque of these Lipo beasts & watching the suspension working during jumps & rough terrain is Awesome!! Thanks Medic!

Loved wheeling and mudding with my dad when I was younger and with a rc monster truck you can do it anytime anywhere and teach your kid how to mud and have fun outside plus it's just good dirty fun

How do you deal with water getting in your tire foams?
He does not use tire foams
Kyle Fromholt Well maybe for his crawlers he doesn't have foams but I'm pretty sure for his faster cars he does
Juan Pablo Saenz Unglue your tires and dry the foams out.
Juan Pablo Saenz poke tiny holes in the tire (four evenly spaced), then flip it upside down and give it all the power for about three to four minutes

I have always been a big fan of monster trucks R/C since I was a kid. Watching them go through mud and seeing all that mud fly up in the air gets me excited.
Its cool how the trucks stay alive. And watching mud fly everywhere is awesome
I really like the power that develops in the exits, they have to fly through the sand of the beach and give some good jumps. I love how rc moster they serve on all types of grounds.

It is great to see how stock RC's handle the mud because it is a great test on how the drive train can handle the load. It is also a good test on how water proof a RC is. It is one of the best durability test to see on a RC.
Always good to see the limit of these things. And with all due respect, always appreciated to see it happen on someone else's rig.

Being in the military it is nice to have a resopnsible hobby to realease some stress. Thanks RC Sparks for all the great videos. By far one of the best guys to watch on you tube. I really love new RC's! After the unboxing they are so perfect and shiny! But very soon I like to see what they're able to do! Unfortunally that means ordering some parts and get the tools out!
