Bro we have enough fools on the continent… speaks of how conflicted you are ironically if you really deep down believed you own a piece of this leaving this land whether permanent on not will not a make a difference
As a Nigerian I lived in Ghana for 3 1/2 years before moving to the states over 2 decades ago and I can tell you Ghana is the most peaceful country in the world. ❤❤❤
I enjoyed watching the Bodleys.....I watch them all the time. I must say, this video was crisp and clear, the quality and sound was very good. You are doing better and you are growing. Keep bringing this quality.
9/12/24 SHALOM Family Bodleys in Ghana 🇬🇭 WOW WOW WOW WHAT a therapeutic honest open discussion loved it loved it the truth be told HalleluYah thank you Content creator for this video will share Yahweh Bless you All 🙏🏾💕
I am Ghanaian moving back home with the proceeds of the sale of one of the two houses my husband and I own here in the US to build our house in Ghana . The reality is that I am moving back with about the equivalent of 40 times what my relatives in Ghana earn in a year , most of whom have degrees and good jobs by Ghanaian standards !If I had moved to America with 40 time's what the average American earns in a year which is about $60,000 I would have arrived with millions ! I cannot minimize the advantage the strong dollar is giving me in moving back and helping family and friends ! Yes it is great to live in Ghana !
Interesting. You can sell a home (and land) "you own" in the U S. I just heard you lease land in Ghana 50 or 99 years. When you own (home and land in U S) you create generational wealth for your kids or family. Interesting!
Great job as always thank you for honoring my request. They are a great couple and I am blessed to have them as family! They are genuine! Love you Bodley family. I’m very glad to see you on here. You did an awesome job.
Bodleys God bless you for sharing your wonderful testimonial. I would love to meet you both to shake your hand. I share a similar story in the fact that my home in Ghana came about as a result of God's plan. I was prophesied to that I would have property in Ghana and everything fell into place after that. I was born in the UK to Jamaican parents and my husband is Ghanaian. We have 2 beautiful daughters and it's my great joy to know that it was not just our desire to have a home in our beloved Ghana but it was God's. Hopefully we will share our testimonial for those who want to know but I agree with every word the Bodley's have said. Obviously every has different circumstances but their guidance is sound. We come home twice a year now as I cannot tolerate winters..and cold weather. But it's more than that Ghana is home 🏡. I too checked my ancestry which confirmed my dna is Ghanaian and other parts of the continent but even if it didn't I love Ghana and cannot wait to settle for good xx
Book a flight and go!! Travel is the most valuable experience ✨️ ghana is an adventure for anyone wanting good food, amazing beaches and the most friendly people 😀

Great video with so much valuable information and insights. I enjoy many of the videos from the Bodleys; thank you for featuring them and please follow up with them in the future.
✊🏿America needs to be honest with itself, the founding fathers never envisioned a diverse nation where people lived in racial harmony. They just wanted to get away from England and its Monarchy rules, they wanted a Europe in America minus a King's foot on their necks. If you dont believe me go to the Naturalization act of 1790 by the first U.S. President and first U.S. Congress and look at the only people allowed to become U.S. Citizens. This stayed law until the 14th ammendment in 1868, an admendment Trump has vowed to get rid of when he takes office. The goal has always been a homegenous country of Europeans. Even Abraham Lincoln said in 1862 to free people of African descent in the northern states, when slavery is over European Americans will never see you as equals, and he also said that all people of African descent should leave America for their own good and those of his own race. Lincoln said to those who did not want to leave, that even the people on his side would not want them to stay if their whole population was free! They dont teach this in school but Lincoln writings are availble for all to see. It gave me a more pessimitic view of things because we have been living a lie so long! Every man made attempt to alter inequality for minorities like DEI/Affirmitive action have only created problems, (as Lincoln Forewarned), and or false preceptions, because the majority will not cede benefits/priveliges of being in a majority status! Trump is only doing the will of the forefathers, we as minorities need to accept our place in this society, by abandoning this futile goal of equality, or take Lincoln's advice and leave for nations we are the majority!141
I’m in Ghana right now visiting for 2 weeks. It’s a beautiful place but many people here are not living there best life. Many of the people are living in extreme poverty and struggling. It is a third world county with its challenges. It has a lot of potential for US Citizens bc our dollar is much more powerful. It is a peaceful place with friendly people who look like me, which is very welcoming and beautiful.
Point of correction we Ghanaians and Ghana 🇬🇭 are NOT living in extreme poverty, we have a lot of food coming from our farm produce , every Ghana is fed daily on three equal meals and content with it.We NOT a third world country looking at how the West depends heavily on Africa for survival ( directly and indirectly) shipping organic food staff to the West , transportating our raw materials(natural resources) etc to the West and you called is that name ? God hv mercy ! Negative misconceptions and ones they come here to Africa, they realized we AIN'T poor , we ain't sleeping on trees, fighting with buffalos, lions, Crocs etc. It a long time blacks we SPEAK positive of ourselves !
Twisted, you sound honest and kind, and I believe you! I would just want to leave what I accomplised to my kids and family. I can't do that with a lease.
I REALLY like what she said at the end…until our people turn back fully to the Most High God/Jesus, we will continue to have problems. 💯 Deuteronomy 28
Why do Black Americans go to Ghana and make it look like Black Americans are ignorant? We are in the middle of the social media age where one can see live footage of Ghana. I haven't seen any news coverage of Ghana that I recall, no matter whether it's negative or positive. No one white person nor government employee has discouraged me from visiting Ghana. The fact that she mentioned bears in Ghana shows her ignorance.
Well you don't know much of your constituents then...a lot of them still that ignorant that way or choose to be that way even in the social media age. Some never left their hood.
@fabriceassima4094 just 90% of Africans have never left the bush. 98% don't have a passport nor have they touched a plane. They travel by foot or ferry. Since white folk left Africa, they trains are inoperable.
Good interview, but the fact that they are still clinging to the colonizer's religion vs their own ancestorial spirituality says they are still mentally enslaved, IMO.
You get so many different stories, positive and negative, about Ghana. No country is perfect. I can't move to a country that only let you LEASE the land and not own it. Why build a home on leased land? What happens to the home if the land lease IS NOT renewed? No one will discuss this issue.
There's no country 😢in the world that gives land permanently unless it's a family land given to you as a will...but in Ghana,if a citizen buys land, the lease period is 99years and non citizen is 50years...so no country in the world gives land permanently okay!!!don't throw dust here I beg you 🎉🙏🙏🙏
It’s just like in the US when you buy a house… you don’t own the land and you are paying taxes every year. The 50 year lease and 99 year lease is more than anyone can wish for .
My House Is Paid Off In USA 🇺🇸 With No Mortgage. I Am Going To Be Paying $7,000 A Year To The USA Government With 2 Installment 🧠 Forever. USA Are The Owner Of The Lands In USA 🇺🇸 Atleast In Ghana 🇬🇭 They Are Not Paying Any Property Taxes.
I can't wait to be interviewed by you☺️☺️ I'm looking at 2025 or 2026. Tap on the icon to the left of this comment to get to know me.😊 Please email me for a future email.😊
My ancestors didn't build America just so I could leave it. America is my home just as much as anyone else. I'm not leaving, sorry.
Nobody is forcing you to come over here
@fredkofiodoom5499 nobody said you were.
Bro we have enough fools on the continent… speaks of how conflicted you are ironically if you really deep down believed you own a piece of this leaving this land whether permanent on not will not a make a difference
@asaasare220 🤔 you talking like you know me bro. If going to another country fulfills you. Go ahead 🫡

Great interview and information 👍. This couple has assimilated very well. I am considering Ghana as a potential retirement destination. Thanks

Thank you! 😃
Great you guys finally did this interview can’t wait to watch it
I love the idea of litigation free land but I worry that Grace City will end up being something like having an HOA here in the states..
Book a flight and go!! Travel is the most valuable experience ✨️ ghana is an adventure for anyone wanting good food, amazing beaches and the most friendly people 😀
Woow big ups ! Love the ptsd she mentioned the 🇬🇭 vibe has solved

I loved the whole show, but I truly loved the end of the show when they spoke of TMH at the end.

I LOVE THE I NTERVIEW
Their house is simple and beautiful

The Man resembles The Judge for Kejetia & Makola show
😂😂 yes i was saying the same in my mind that , this guy resemble some popular in Ghana and you have nail it , hahaha😂😂😂
best decision
Wow love the interview.
We are glad you did enjoy
America is good but the struggle of the bills is REAL
Please advice them to get land titles because indentures alone don't help if there is a legal situation in future.
Yes very good
My neighbor 💪🏾💪🏾
My experience is that we from the UK are less frustrated than the USA in Ghana. Not sure why.
No water shortages or power cuts in 1978. In Accra Ghana when I first came to this country. And no potholes on the roads.

😂😂😂ikr
😂😂😂😂😂
I would love for them to be my mentor
If you don't mind asking who did you purchase your land from? Did you use a professional builder or the locals?
Damn...they looking better than we are.
❤❤
What and how much are CDs US?
Ghana Cedi , that’s the currency used in Ghana
1 USD is now about 15 Ghana cedi
You can always check on google
It fluctuates. At the time that they arrived in Ghana it was more like 10 Cedis to 1 US dollar
I really enjoyed your experience there. I would like to visit Ghana, but how do I get in contact with you guys please? My name is Louis!
Why everyone is s moving to Ghana,? I like to go where most people don't go
Try Port Harcourt or Calabar, Nigeria 😊

They just don't know themselves as African, No sense of pride and consciousness so just ride on the negative of which every country has.

You re outside the Matrix. You took the red pill. Im Morpheus… Welcome.
Could have just rented out the rooms for $800 a room.
Yeah and come over here to Ghana 🇬🇭 will give you an affordable land to buy
Do they have kids, they didn’t mentioned it
Yes they do have adult children.
They left em in the States
I think they dont really talk about their kids which is good.
