I agree, I was there from Acid House so I've seen all the changes, the government pushed the scene indoors and into inner cities and out of the fields but in terms of the music itself It had to evolve as you can't stop progression and you're right today's generation they ain't got a clue which is a shame (i guess we're showing our age)
It’s weird because those of us still in school when these tapes were doing the rounds a;ways had quite a lot of ideas bumping around our heads of what these names looked like. These random East Anglia MCs were heard at the other edges of the British isles but they probably had no idea, along with these DJs who were second to the lazers
