    I'd like to see a demo of kicking the screen with the front door open, as opposed to closed. The door being closed blocks the force of the foot against the screen so it's not an accurate reflection of the effectiveness of the screen to prevent kick-ins.

    • @BossSecurityScreens
      @BossSecurityScreens  3 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      The mesh is stainless steel. It doesn't flex. So when it's kicked like that, the mesh doesn't touch the closed door at all. I will make another video for you. For now, take a look: vimeo.com/460287245

If you go with a cheaper screen that has only a 10x10 weave per sq inch, smaller bugs (mosquitoes!) will be able to climb into your home. Look for the 12x12 weave. These are not impenetrable... They can be broken with moderate force. Additionally, if these manage to withstand some force, your window trim likely will not. Last, you demonstrate hitting the front door screen, though this shows us literally nothing; all the force is stopped by the door behind it because the screen has some flex to it. Pretty obvious you are marketing for them. Did they give you a free set for this 100% unbiased testimony to lead people to have a false sense of security? Ridiculous.
    PS: Try a single swing with a pick axe or door breacher and see how the security screens hold up.
    Bottom line: Better than nothing, sure. Impenetrable? Not by a long shot.

      You're not paying attention. He is a spokesperson for the company so, no, he is not being paid off for a phony review. He is just advertising his product, which actually looks pretty impressive. I'm not an expert in physics, but I don't know what the door behind the screen has to do with anything since he's not touching it. The screen is steel and is not flexible. No door is 100 percent impenetrable, but this would be a strong enough deterrent to cause a burglar to go to the next house.
