- Extended and sound improved version of Brad Fiedel's iconic howling violin score from the original Fright Night (1985 - 1989) films. I gave more space to the intro to let it breathe a little bit. Hope you enjoy it. You're so cool, Brewster!

Fiedel’s “Window Watching” cue begins with circular keyboard figures swirling around a slow, seductive beat, as Charlie watches Jerry manipulate the woman under his spell. As Daniel Schweiger recounts in his fascinating notes for Intrada’s 2011 release of the score, the rock-styled melody that follows as Jerry’s demonic nature reveals itself has a much more ancient ancestor.
Many fans believed this to be the sound of an electric guitar (the theme would even be included on the Guitar Hero videogame), but these solos were actually performed on an electric violin by Ross Levinson. ...“The first time I saw Jerry, I thought he was Mr. Cool, the older guy who’s going to steal your girlfriend,” Fiedel says. “While Chris Sarandon certainly wasn’t acting like Bela Lugosi, I thought it would be interesting to go back to the Eastern European idea of equating a vampire with a fiddle, then twisting it to sound like a guitar. Ross did an incredible job of chopping with his bow to get that sound.”

This song is seriously on my top 10 movie scores. It seals in the classic horror and suspense this movie had. Was pretty disappointed the remake didn't feature a new version of this song. Wasn't a terrible remake just didn't live up to the standards of this classic horror
What's even more disappointing about the remake's score is that they had a fantastic composer in Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld). Fright Night is one of those lightning in a bottle films you can't duplicate or improve upon.

A masterpiece. This captures the sensual-erotic like no other song I've ever heard, on a level that is neither pure lust or love, but something entirely otherworldly, predatory, dangerously hypnotic and self-surrendering. The gentle start, the buildup, the edging, the dramatic climax and release. It's the real thing captured and expressed in musical form.

The movie was pretty cheesey at points but this part was pretty epic, the music really immersed the audience with the vampire showing off some nice features.
The dance scene with Amy and Dandridge still makes me cringe.
I like the cheesiness of it, but that is just my opinion. Great movie either way!

Growing up even I would've let him. Hell, I'd be his own version of Evil if he wanted. Think I was 16 in 2000 and Finally say down and Really watched this. Love it to this day. Even my 13 year old daughter knows, LEAVE DADDY BE. HE'S WATCHING FRIGHT NIGHT AGAIN.
