Feet dragging is honestly super helpful, ive been trying to wheelie for years, never did the foot drag. 2 months ago i said eff it and practiced foot drags. Its controlled, gets you used to the feeling, and it teaches you muscle memory for the throttle and brake, 2 weeks of foot dragging and i was finally able to do full blown wheelies, now its like nothing!
That's awesome! I've been learning it on my electric mountain bike and I'm getting pretty good there. This is going to be fun on my Eride pro SS because you have a throttle to help keep you in the balance point. One thing that helped me on my mountain bike was to never looked down or at your front wheel and always look out at the horizon.
Oh nice!! Yea you’ll be at balance point fast now that you have the throttle! And yep I always look down the road and not down at the wheel. Keep me posted on your progress!
Right on man! They are a blast. If you get one hit up Shockbikes.com and tell em Corey sent you. I'll have to make my way out to your range for a surron range day video hahaha.
I can wheelie my supermoto and sportbike with footbrake. Handbrake is totally new to me. I have the Hope brakes and they are so touchy lol. The side to side balance is a lot harder on these also.
Hahaha so me and you come from the same struggles. I also learned on a supermoto and mt-07 and when I got on the surron I struggled lol. At first the handbrake is mega touchy but just like the foot brake the more you do it the easier it will be to dial in. As for left and right balance the dirt tires are TERRRRRRIBleE. I’d go with some street tires if possible
Okay so once you start going then being able to touch the ground no longer is an issue. If you are barely able to touch the pegs that would be a problem. But if you are able to sit down and reach the pegs then just give it throttle and lean back
LETS GOOOOOOOOO That's what's up bro. I know you are having a blast on it already hahaha they are a ton of fun bro. Keep me posted on your wheelie progress for sure!
5:05 u said that u can just go without using the brake if u find the balence point by just using the throttle. I can do that it’s ez. But it’s way more controllable when ur using the brake. And u slow down the speed. Cuz me personally, I wanna get better at doing it on a low speed, its way more fun to me
Dude I know the struggle on my lightbee I have the old version that has a 32ah battery and you have to butt pull and just throw your body weight at it if you're going faster than 10
I have this problem crashing everytime I try and pop the wheel up, it's my 5th crash this month. My surrons front suspension is barely working so I can't do that fancy stuff so I'm pulling it hard with my arm and then I start going side by side and have no control over it. After my 5th crash I just gave up on it and tried foot drag. I have that feeling of the balance point feeling of the throttle, brakes and the speed but whenever I try wheelie with my foot up I always end up going side by side and the forget everything. Do you have any solution to that?
@@Corey_Vlogs Thanks for the fast response! I actually upgraded my rear wheel to 80/100-19 off road tire last year and after checking on it It was crooked and not straight maybe that was the problem. I'm thinking of upgrading my rear wheel entirely.
I have it at 0% I do typically like the feel of engine brake because I come from street bikes and stuff. But on the surrons I turn it off since it's a strange feel.
Quick quesiton, im getting the wheelies down but my only issue is sometimes when im popping i get into a lean and then i end up turning? anyway to stop leaning?
It has a 60v 40ah battery which is a great battery for sure. And the suspension is way beefier than the stock Surron stuff. I think it's a greaty purchase for the price bro! Obviously keep in mind the surrons have an unlimited amount of aftermarket parts lol.
@@Corey_Vlogs i can power wheelie now, struggling with a controlled slow balance point version of wheelies, i even fell on my back literally 3 days ago
nope it was bone stock and has a doookie battery lol. It's about 30% slower than a newer surron. I did add a controller a couple months ago and it has helped with smoothness but no power gains.
All stays true. I can wheelie anything including big gas bikes and all the rules stay the same. Only difference on mx500 is you want have to be as far back for balance point
The hardest part for me is the brake control. I can hold the wheelie and drop back, but I can’t get the brake control so it just ends of being a power wheelie.

I can already see it in the future you'll be on one of these doing some sick wheelies!

This is the best tutorial ive found im getting a light be X before summer i cant wait to put what i learned into actually doing it
LETS GO!!! I hope it helps! Also feel free to ask any questions or send me progress updates I'd love to follow along.
@hudsononasurron echo is definitely possible it will just be a lot harder to get the front wheel up that’s all
@hudsononasurron yooooooooooo lets goo!!!! If you have instagram I’ll go checkout the progress link it

Hi .. thanks for the amazing tutorial video.. please may I know the brand name of the wheels you have on your surron?
I think they are KKE also just the stock wheels from factory. I have shinko tires on them though :)
Just curious do you need the rear brake disconnected so you dont get throttle power cut off when you hit the brake?
the rear brake sensor thing should be disconnected but don't disconnect the entire brake lol
Where is this spot at, looks like a great place to practice
Nice video my Pro S should be here in about 3 days God willing!
Let’s go!!! Keep me posted
i cant pop the wheel up with my feet for some reason and should i pop it with sport on or off
Sport mode for sure!
this might be an obvious question but how do you pop the wheel up if you can barely reach the ground?

what psi do you run
Yo what bike are you using in the video?
Do I have to take the break sensor off?
Yes I would just so it's easier.
I just got one pick it
Up tomorrow

Man I have a mx3 talaria and it just won’t wheelie and go up past 8 mph idk why almost feels like it doesn’t have enough power?

@@Corey_Vlogsold version? Is that a 2021?
Every time I try to wheelie my bike then left or right
Try and relax a little and it will get easier
What are the tires you got on it still on 19 inch wheels right ?
Still on the bone stock 19" wheels

A new tire would do wonders for you bro!! If you are on the stock tires it's very hard to control for real

Get more speed when u wheelie it’ll balance more
what is your regen percentage?
I have it at 0% I do typically like the feel of engine brake because I come from street bikes and stuff. But on the surrons I turn it off since it's a strange feel.
Come visit Berlin, Maryland it is a fun place to ride.and could you do some giveaways
We will be doing giveaways in the future for sure!
how long does it take to learn a wheelie?
could take a week could take 2 years. It all just depends on how fast your brain is capable of being uncomfortable.
Quick quesiton, im getting the wheelies down but my only issue is sometimes when im popping i get into a lean and then i end up turning? anyway to stop leaning?
make sure the tire pressure is slightly lower than normal will help and making sure your axle is adjusted right.

110 link chain for 54 tooth sprocket.

Everything is the same from a 50cc to an R7. Master the rear brake and go back enough till you slow down

@@Corey_Vlogs all right thank you so much 👍
Let me know the hardest part of learning wheelies.
TBH........dropping the bike or hurting myself which are both fears I need to get over.
Yea dude that's a tough one! Looping and falling sucks lol. But if you wear some solid gear you'll more than likely get up like nothing happened.
The hardest part for me is the brake control. I can hold the wheelie and drop back, but I can’t get the brake control so it just ends of being a power wheelie.
