I love the first scene. In almost every game its the player that is in the dark and doesnt know who characters are or their background; constantly having to listen to exposition. But in that first scene it feels like the player is the insider, and Kaoru is the one in the dark. All of the florist info and stuff about purgatory would be known to the player if they played Kiwami. It just felt really good to be the one who knew what was going on going into the situation for once.
I love how happy he sounds in spite of the fact that they are all probably going to die. then again, he was listening to their discussion, so he was probably excited to put his head to work.
