Now you've had it for a while would you say the MT09 is superior to the 07 in every way? Anything you miss about the 07? I have an R6 at the moment and I'm almost done with the sport bike life. Thinking about getting an MT09 next year but keep thinking the 07 might be a bit more fun around town and in the forest as it's lighter but I'm not sure how much that actually translates into the riding experience.
If you get the chance, test ride them. But coming from the r6 chances are you will be underwhelmed with the 07. The 09 might be a little heavier but there’s just so much torque it feels really smooth. I ride it in the city often and never felt it’s weight
