I got robbed of my deathless last second...
This boss was insanely fun to beat, honestly I kinda wish it was just a solo boss because a lot of people talked about how easy it was in publics. Beating this solo only took a couple hours after release and was a fun and enticing challenge I recommend to anybody rn.
As for the Boss, Port has 4 technically 5 phases. Intro, Beast Mode, Dummy, Grief, and Grief 2. Each phase gets progressively harder culminating in the longest most difficult phase. Ill go into a bit of detail incase anybody is curious...
Phase 1 (PortABoi) -
Their damage is pathetic this phase so as long as you bait out an attack and punish with like 6-7 punches you should be fine. Just don't get hit by the hammer because it gives him shield and you should learn this phase quickly. It's more of an intro to the moves he uses throughout the fight.
Phase 2 (Beast Mode) -
You need to stay on guard for the dash attack, it does the most damage and comes out quickly. The boss will very clearly give a window to attack when they just randomly walk around so dodge safely and then punish when they take a pause.
Phase 3 (Dummelica Phase) -
Dummy is insanely dangerous so you need to kite away from her at all times, by luring Port away you still damage her and since his kit is easier with less damage it minimizes your chance of death. Never try to actually take both of them on at once, Dummy's Big Fork dash attack is insanely threatening and can predict movements, if Port is around you get combo'd to death
Phase 4-5 (Grief Phase) -
Port takes moves from his previous phases and Dummy while speeding up their attacks and shortening their punish window. You have to play as safe as possible during this phase as you will get obliterated quickly. Use Phase 4 as practice for Phase 5 because once Phase 5 starts you can't run anymore. The black mist limits movement to a circle and introduces two new moves while buffing the rest of Ports kit. Avoid getting hit by any stunning moves at all cost, the Black Hole and the Killer Fish attack can especially be deadly. Just play slow and you will win

Fun fact this boss is actually extremely easy, the final stage difficulty is produced by the music alone as ports singing generates tears in your eyes to blur the screen
it gives me tinnitus the song is horrible

In my opinion this is more enjoyable than normal IA bossfights. No rng based, just pure skills.
As a victor of all bosses solo Perfect Run I agree, I don’t have to reload for good items for 30 minutes straight
I mean if you dont like RNG then the hell you doing in IA?
For me atleast, I enjoyed my time doing Item Asylum bosses, just sometimes it would get a little draining with the rolling. Especially when a boss would be literally impossible without a certain type of item. I play the maingame with friends all the time it’s one of the few games on this platform that gets players I actually like
@@Porpoyus Since when did i said that i hate rngs? i know fighting bosses could be more creative and maybe more fun with it but I like the classic style more. And it’s just simply my opinion.
Yeah I agree. Though I have no idea if it was made by IA devs

So true chesed
hi there goobers777 i am punishing burd
A guide to Portland, from my experience.
[General Facts before the battle.]
Portland has two bars, a health bar (red) and a stagger bar (white). Stagger functions as a sort of armour and can be refilled through a specific attack. Health cannot be refilled and bosses cannot automatically regenerate health.
All phases of the boss fight go by a mechanic called Scenes/Turns, this being their attack(s). The amount of attacks a boss casts depends on the amount of ability selection (clicks) you hear during their neutral. Once a Scene is finished, the boss will go back to their neutral state, often walking around aimlessly until they finish selecting attacks for the next Scene.
[Phase 1: Portland, the Black Silence.]
This phase is most definitely the easiest for both groups and solo players. Portland has half of his original LoR arsenal, and he only uses one to two attacks every Scene.
Combat Deck:
- Old Hammer Workshop (Old Boy Workshop): A single, fast slam of a hammer, causing an AOE shockwave. Once it hits a target, Portland recovers a small part of his stagger bar. This attack often catches players off guard if it comes first, so during neutral, always be ready to dodge once he starts a Scene.
-Night Reaper (Durandal): Two diagonal slashes with a delay on a second. Whether or not MH was faithful to LoR and gave Portland a strength buff on hit is unknown. Dodge the first slash and either move out of the way or parry the second to take advantage of an opening.
-Secare Atelier (Crystal Atelier): Two swords that make two cross cuts with a delay on the second. If it hits, the player is inflicted with a debuff. Same strategy as Night Reaper.
-Dagger Workshop (Ranga Workshop): Three lunges with a knife that auto targets the nearest player. Very fast, hard to predict. Again, get ready to dodge if Portland casts this after his neutral. His third slash, if targeting you, can be parried somewhat easily, dodging isn't recommended unless this is his last attack in a Scene.
-Judgement Cut (Mook Workshop): One big, AOE sphere of slashes that lasts for a good 2 seconds. This is a multi hit slash circle, so you're either advised to parry, or completely maneuver yourself out of the area.
[Phase 2: Beast Mode/ Remnant of the Smoke War.]
Having a larger health pool in exchange for no Stagger bar and more predictable attacks, use openings in certain attacks to your advantage, and chip him off either in neutral or said openings.
Combat Deck:
-Shockwave: Raising two arms up, Portland slams them into the ground, causing a massive shockwave to manifest. Either jump over the shockwave, or parry the initial slam to get enough I-Frames to get you through the shockwave. Note that said shockwave can be passed through with your dodge. You can also jump and attack him at the same time if you're close enough to the boss.
-Swipe: One big sweep in front. Best to move out of the way, but you can parry or dodge should you be in a sticky situation.
-Slam: Two one-handed slams, causing tentacles to launch out of the ground on contact with said ground. Move diagonally to get out of the way, or move behind to get an opening.
-Rush: A white circle will appear on Portland's body before he lunges forward with speed. If you have good ping, it's best to dodge or parry it and exploit the opening he leaves behind. Otherwise, side dodge to maneuver yourself out of the way.
-Forest of Horrors: Stabbing his hands into the ground, Portland creates a large amount of tentacles surrounding him. This is the easiest attack to exploit, provided you're aware of your surroundings. Dash in for a few safety I-Frames, get a few good hits, and prepare yourself for his next move, should he have more in his Scene.
(Guide continues in replies)
[Phase 3: Portland and Dummelica.]
This is where the boss fight truly starts to hold it's ground.
Now faced with the threat of two bosses, there are strategies with more or less the same concept, but with different executions.
For solo players, circle around the arena and try to provoke ONLY Portland into attacking you. Repeat the running strat once you feel Dummelica will get in range.
For players in a group, divide your team into two halves, one to deal with Portland, one to deal with Dummelica. It's best to send players who are best at dealing with Portland/ Dummelica to their respective targets.
The key strat here is to focus on attacking Portland, as each attack landed on him will also damage Dummelica by a larger amount. But if you're in a group, try your absolute best to slide in a few hits if you can on either of them.
In this phase, Portland has the same arsenal as his phase 1 counterpart, and Dummelica has the remaining 4 of the 9 Black Silence weapons. For newer players, it's best to focus on Portland in case you are overwhelmed by the new attacks.
Combat Deck (Portland):
-Old Hammer Workshop (Old Boy Workshop): A single, fast slam of a hammer, causing an AOE shockwave.
Very fast, hard to predict, reasonably long range.
Combat Deck (Dummelica):
-Fork Workshop (Allas Workshop): Four lunges with uncomfortably long range. Dodge the first two, and try to maneuver or parry the last lunges.
-Sharpshooter Logic (Atelier Logic): Two bullets from two pistols that slows on hit, and a final bullet from a sniper that stuns on hit. Fast activation, unpredictable, assumed infinite range. In some cases, you can move sideways to completely render the attack useless. If you are unfortunately hit by the first two bullets, you still have a window to dodge or parry the last one.
-Belt Workshop (Zelkova Workshop): Two belts that do two sets of attacks, with the second having a slight delay from the first. It's range is absolutely horrendous, so as long as you make distance, you should be okay. Note that parrying this attack isn't advised as you still have a chance to get hit through the parry.
-Fish Industry (Wheel Industry): Dummelica slams a giant sword into the ground two times, causing a massive AOE shockwave. Both can be jumped over, but if you're hit by the first attack, parrying the second isn't the worst idea.
[Phase 4: E.G.O Portland]
This, and the final phase is where most runs eventually go in the concept incinerator.
Here, your surroundings become black and white, no impact on anything else whatsoever, just wanted to point that out.
Portland will now use his arsenal's full potential, with all 9 weapons of the Black Silence at his command.
There is no new strategy.
Deal with him as you would in phase 1, and most importantly, *survive*.
Combat Deck:
-Old Hammer Workshop (Old Boy Workshop): A single, fast slam of a hammer, causing an AOE shockwave.
-Claw Workshop (Ranga Workshop): Three lunges with a knife that auto targets the nearest player. Very fast, hard to predict reasonably long range.
-Fork Workshop (Allas Workshop): Two lunges with uncomfortably long range. Noticeable delay on the second lunge. Dodge or parry both to exploit a short opening.
-Belt Workshop (Zelkova Workshop): Two belts that do a set of attacks. It's range is absolutely horrendous, so as long as you make distance, you should be okay. Note that parrying this attack isn't advised as you still have a chance to get hit through the parry.
-Fish Industry (Wheel Industry): Portland slams a giant sword into the ground, causing a massive AOE shockwave. Failure to parry or dodge can result in a panic, so if it ever comes down to it, keep your head cool.
[Phase 5: E.G.O Portland + Power of the Distortion.]
At a certain health point in Phase 4, Portland will surround the arena with a damaging black fume, no running now.
This phase gives Portland a few noticeable upgrades to his arsenal, as well as two new attacks.
In this stage of the fight, it's best to count out his attacks before going in to get some hits on him. Use the ability selection sound effects to your advantage and chip him off little by little.
Jumping and keeping yourself on the move is probably your best safety measure, if you haven't been doing that since phase 3 already. Keep circling and going in diagonal directions, and counter the attacks to the best of your abilities.
Combat Deck:
-Old Hammer Workshop (Old Boy Workshop): A single, fast slam of a hammer, causing an AOE shockwave. Once it hits a target, Portland recovers a small part of his stagger bar. This attack often catches players off guard if it comes first, so during neutral, always be ready to dodge once he starts a Scene. In this phase, Portland unleashes tentacles for every Old Hammer Workshop attack cast.
-Claw Workshop (Ranga Workshop): Three lunges with a knife that auto targets the nearest player. Very fast, hard to predict reasonably long range.
In this phase, the attack has increased range and damage output.
-Fork Workshop (Allas Workshop): Six lunges with uncomfortably long range. Noticeable delay after each lunge. Move diagonally and alternate between parries and dodges to minimize damage.
-Belt Workshop (Zelkova Workshop): Two belts that do a set of attacks. It's range is absolutely horrendous, so as long as you make distance, you should be okay. Note that parrying this attack isn't advised as you still have a chance to get hit through the parry.
-Fish Industry (Wheel Industry): Portland slams a giant sword into the ground once or twice, causing a massive AOE shockwave and unleashing tentacles each time. Failure to parry or dodge can result in a panic, so if it ever comes down to it, keep your head cool, and prepare to parry should he have a second slam in rotation. In this phase, if you get hit by the attack, you are inflicted with a slow debuff that lasts at least 2-3 seconds or so.
-Scream: Portland screams and unleashes a sphere, functioning as a multi hit AOE attack that can be devastating to the player if caught off guard. Can be multi parried, can be dodged.
-Stomp of Agony: Portland stomps into the ground twice, with a delay in between. Each stomp releases an array of tentacles, heading in a direction. Move away from the line of fire and do NOT attempt to parry it.

For some reason, and considering how seemingly difficult this event boss is to solo I am still completely dumbfounded on how it took me way less tries to beat it compared to how excruciatingly long it took me to solo pr weegee or skeleton.
The fights deceptively easy ya, also fights like weegee and skeleton are insanely reliant on item rolls for solo pr. I mean weegee without speed boost or hitscan is torture and skeleton without vampire knives also is pretty painful
Tbh this boss is way too easy if you play in a public server, cuz you can be carried by pros. But i think this boss is for IA players other than MH players since most MH event bosses are as hard as Dark Souls bosses or time consuming, also it can be solo bosses. Man i still feel the pain of failing MH Easter 2023 event and Winter 2023...
In my experience, the boss is simple, but also difficult in some moments, especially in the last phase when your heart is beating from the music and the fact that your health is low.
The best event I could play.

Can you please help me beat it plz? I am trying to get the limited item for Item Asylum
Yo can you give me some tips about the gone port at phase 3? I keep dying at that phase
Phase 3 is very annoying it’s not hard it’s just really annoying if you don’t know what you are doing. You basically want to circle around the map and build as much distance from dummy as possible in order isolate port. Port only has their phase 1 move set so just kite them around the map in a circle and punish them. If dummy ever catches up just get away as quickly as possible in order to resume solely fighting port, you really just want this to be a 1v1 so the phase basically boils down to being a second phase 1 except you have to stay moving. Also always be prepared for the hammer attack it’s insanely fast and gives him shield. Good attacks to punish is his giant dash (ragna workshop) and his double slash attack
@@ThatCrowNobodyLikes Yo thanks for the tips i managed to solo him but at phase 5 i died bc my parry sometimes doesnt parry the attack (or didnt work)

i shoulda wish i had more players to beat this boss 😔
If you need a party the Midnight Horrors discord server has a thread for private server invites to raid it with other players without the waiting of a public server
Is this possible in a private server? How do you get this to happen? Is it no longer available?
It should still be doable in a private sever, you open up your admin panel using the menu option in the bottom left rather than the physical item. Go to maps, and scroll all the way down and there should be a map called (!EVENET!) Bus Stop
@@ThatCrowNobodyLikes got it, thanks!
I hopped into the bossfight with no prior knowledge and soloed him, first try, I'm either insane with legion kata or the boss is just easy. How many attempts would you day it took you to win solo?
Only 5 the fight is really easy if you know parrying mechanics, the dodge is also super forgiving with invincibility. So having 2 get out of jail free cards is huge. Only took 2 hours because the time between attempts is annoyingly long even with a VIP server. Honestly that’s my only complaint with the event, wait times
Ok question, what happens if you defeat port first instead of the dummy on the 3rd phase
You can’t, damaging port actually hurts dummy. Dummy will die first as a result of hitting port. If you were to hack and kill port somehow first it would probably break the game because the phase transition for phase 4 is dummy’s death

phase 2 is so out of place lol im trying to duo this boss any tips?
Phase 2 is a very bait and punish phase, you want to bait out their attack pattern and not attack at all and then once it ends and they start just walking doing nothing you punish. Their dash attack is the only real threat so you want to always save you parry for that dash. You can also roll the dash attack if you don’t think you can parry it, just save one of your escape tools for the dodge attack at all times because it comes quick and hits hard. The boss is also really slow so dashing away a couple times should give you ample time to heal. I talk a little bit about each phase in the description
@@ThatCrowNobodyLikesI JUST BEAT IT TYSM BRO (i solo'd the last phase lol)
even if this was one of the easier ones its fun
ok but what if you defeat port during phase 3???? what happens then
Physically can't kill port first since hitting port damage dummy and always kills dummy first. If you were to hack somehow and kill port first it would probably just bug the game, since the phase transition is triggered by Dummy's death
how do you get this in a private server

Physically can't kill port first since hitting port damage dummy and always kills dummy first. If you were to hack somehow and kill port first it would probably just bug the game, since the phase transition is triggered by Dummy's death
What do you gain from beating the portalando
Gives a gear in MH and adds a new weapon to your random list of pulls in IA, item in both games is called “Ragna Workshop”
@@ThatCrowNobodyLikes HOLY. WHEN DOES THE EVENT END?
Honestly I don’t know, might get more information on it in the following days so we’ll see
can you help me to beat it pls
Can it be challenged by multile people? even the event is over?
Yes you can, basically get your friends in a private server and set the map to “Event Haven”. Then go to the badge of the event and have all your friends and you enter the Queue which is above the button to teleport to the event. Once everyone is in queue you can start and everyone will be TPd
gone angels more like gone my soul after hearing that 💀

Whats the name of the phase 3 music?
Music is in description, the song is Roland Phase 3 - Library of Ruina OST
Yo dude can you help defeat portaboi please I need help on it
My user is w_gamer304
If you die you restart right? No entra life sorta stuff
Na you get 3 lives, they made the event very forgiving for the item asylum players to get the badge. It’s not that hard to do deathless though
theres no way im gonna try and solo this after watchng this, public servers then
I don't mind the skill gap and having to learn the phases, I do mind that I have to wait at least 5 minutes before I can fight him again
that's what makes me angry about fighting this boss
So many roblox bosses have this issue, it’s annoying. Why can’t they just make it a little easier to restart
Why is there hoppy scug
Im not gonna sugarcoat it
Dash + attack
No block no parry just dodge😈
Port became emo 💀
i hate this boss so much
the lack of breaks not to mention the 4 PHASES is so absurd. not to mention how much damage the 2nd phase deals. this is absurd. i'll never get an midnight horrors event iem
Wait till bro plays Library of Ruina
this is way different
midnight horrors is notorious for having stupidly difficult bosses (or just tedious)
library of runia has a lot of RNG and strategy@@RynorPlayz
@@realshaperio but this boss was one of the easier midnight horror bosses. The Black Silence might be harder than this version
Did you try to solo it? Because the boss is much easier on public servers
@@RynorPlayzYou'd be surprised that Black Silence is actually easier than some crying children that takes 20 minute because of the mechanic it has
can anyone tell me how the hell to get this stupid bossfight
wait found it ha HA TIME TO GET A FREE IA WEPON
Be thankfull tounguer atleast got a nerf
I seriously dont get people who ask smoker for a nerf, THE ENTIRE GAMEMODE IS BALANCED AROUND PLAYING IN A TEAM, and then "Ooooh nooooo the enemy who clearly needs someone else to snipe should take a nerf because players are idiot"
Even when i die to a smoker because no one helped me i dont whine "this zombie sucks" rather "my teammates suck"
@@monikaisdonewiththeinterne2039Unless the survivors dont understand what teamwork is, they should in most maps rarely actually kill someone unless they drag you through the void or an electric fence, both of which just require alertness to stay away. So I dont get why they complain all that much.
The same people that ask for smoker nerfs are the people who dont understand how survivors with golf clubs are the biggest menace in existance. I guess adding in new mutations to make it more rare is the best direction, even if the direct nerf was a bit much.
@@casualkris4806 its the same thing as red mist nerf, back then there was no damage requirement, only hp loss, that made red mist more consistent even against good players, yeah that did lower the skill floor, and while there was times where noobs would throw themselves into gebura, that wasnt the case against people who understand that time is always against gebura thanks to the fact ranged is the bane of any red mist, you NEED to cut as much time as possible in kill time, each second spent chasing someone is another pixel gun shot, another intervention shot, and chasing the ones with good ranged waste so much time it becomes difficult to win, it was a nerf just to hit on the baby kali players
Tbh,When player count to 1-2 in ZS mode, the change of becaming Smoker and Hunter should be 0% and the other remaning would be SPANISH OR VANISH into death
@@NuclearSiteOperation0987 ok that is true, smokers and (arguably hunters) should have 0% if the player count is 2 or 1 on the survivor's side
Can you summon him with the private server book?
Yes you can
@@ThatCrowNobodyLikes I ment book. Don’t know why it says badge
Oh idk about the book the physical item, I know you can summon it with the menu option but ya haven’t tested it. I mean probably works just have to put (!EVENT!) Bus Stop into the map part of the book
i cry at gone angel
Ain't no way portaboi just swear at 26:40 in Roblox game and it passes through the moderation, *WHAT IS THIS!!!*
he says fun not f###
