Absolutely amazing that these still even exist. Boy oh boy do I wish Red's very first episode from Sep 30th, 1951 was available. That would have been absolutely amazing to see. Not sure if the Kinescope survived though, or if it even was Kinescoped. Esther Williams and nearly a dozen other of Red's friends watched the live broadcast at a big party that was thrown to celebrate his debut on television.
"Proctor's big gamble"????? Hilarious!!! You have given us such a treat here. Thank you so much!! I have a promotional mechanical floaty pencil from 1951-1953, which mentions that his show was presented by Tide and Camay. Do you have any of his Camay shows?
Wow so he worked with Dave Rose And His Orchestra For 24 Years from Radio To Television in Black White And Then To Television In Color they both went through alot from those 24 nearly 25 years itself.

David rose had worked for Skelton a long time. Fifty-one to 71.
David Rose was Red's orchestra leader on radio in 1947.
