So a few things (in general) The Cryos cooldown on Ice storm is like 4 seconds. A Cryo can spec just a bit of dex, get high crit chance, or land headshots with a Pyro staff, and essentially have infinite mana. If you throw a tree at me on my Cryo, Im gonna crit it to death and refill my soul energy while I throw ice storms at you xD The trees attack is blockable and parryable if your playing a loudout that can do either,. Yes you should get out of it if possible, but if a druid catches you in a bad spot you might not have a choice. You can also just kill it, it doesnt have a ton of hp.
Stat builds make a huge difference with druids though. While what you say about cryos combat advantage head to head is true, high enough dex on a Druid can make them see you through walls very far away so they have the ability to locate you before you know they are even near. Then high enough will can make them cast 2 trees at once which is highly problematic. If a Druid gets the jump on you while fighting with 2 trees, a shock potion, and a lightning staff , … have fun lol.

Casters in a narrow room, dead end, or hallway is asking to get ganked by trees..or meleed to death lol.
I was a geared out rogue and I die to a cruise with only a blue staff common everything else. This hero is busted and now all I’m playing is Druid. Need this shit
Best strat for Druid is to stay in Panther form with wall hacks up to 30 Meters. Run around the map, avoiding PvE (You're not here to PvE, you're here to PvP), always take double lightning staffs for insane burst damage. If you find someone, stalk them through the walls for a bit, if they fight someone then that is great... Because now they're going to kill each other and you'll eat the scraps like the vulture you are. When you find someone, Thunderclap them with flask, drop a Treant on them, use all 4 lightning strikes, then Panther slam spam. ONLY use the Panther Melee if they are panicking. You can't stand and bang with classes so, don't. If you find yourself losing, Just panther slam out of there, and reset the entire fight. It's busted... Hopefully tomorrow's patch will absolutely wreck this class.
im confused about the ice storms too. I know they can move the storm then it eventually pops. but that seemed real weird unless their skill adds extra chargers?
@@Painjusu Not if you spec into some Dex, and crit chance, My cryo has 102% crit chance, and Soul energy on crit, double staves (Fire / Lightning). lol I can throw Ice storms all day xD The ice storm itself also crits 100% so it basically refunds its own energy cost. Also for the OP, It only has a like 4 second cooldown, so if you've got energy. You can cast it all the time.
this game needs gear score matchmaking based system. I went in with gear score 9 just trying to grind PVE but the lobby is filled with gear level 27 above
There doesn’t seem to be much discrepancy to me. He is a low level Druid with only one passive and green gear. Green is pretty low. 2 hours of playing a character would you to the point where he is.
It def is a bit unbalanced but so is almost every classes abilities tbh. In epic gear, fighter whirlwind will kill you in 3-4 ticks. Druids fall off in purple gear damage wise. ALl they got is movement at that point.

The cooldown for the ice storm is super short. just like with the pyromancers fireball. Youre more limited my Souls than Cooldown

almost, dont forget if you use a dagger offhand, you can throw a slow! it's OP and hits decently in combination!

There is gearscore based matchmaking in casual. Only classic mode has no matchmaking based on gear.

Druid is the absolute stupid class, there's absolutely no way to chase nor run from them, this needs to be nerfed asap
