I’m glad this will be my last pro + box. Ended my subscription when realized as a Canadian customer we can Not redeem our points, can’t purchase from the store, and basically we’re never even eligible for the golden ticket. And the fact it takes 6 weeks to get our boxes (still haven’t gotten box 100) and exchange rate and shipping rates, it’s just not worth it anymore. But I love this content and have enjoyed being a subscriber. Maybe reactivate my subscription next year
When I asked about redeeming points, they said that I could. I haven't attempted to actually do it yet though. Not being able to buy from the store really does suck because we can't take advantage of the awesome sales. The cost of shipping would make buying off the stores not worth it though; just look at what we pay for shipping on the boxes. A few boxes back, we received a gift-card worth $25 (I think) which is only to be used in the stores. When I inquired about this, they told me that it could be used against a subscription box for us Canadians.
Why would you make a working tool out of 420 stainless and especially with that blade profile and thinness? This is everything not to do for a hatchet, axe ir even a full body working bush craft knife.. One it’s not weldable so if you chuck it you can’t repair and regrind.. It’s super hard and ridged so it who’ll break or chip under hard use.. It’s extremely hard to sharpen by hand.. so when you dull it you will not be sharpening it back to a decent edge.. now it will have extremely high edge retention but again it’s hardened to the point of being a little brittle.. This is an alloy that is used for high end cooking knives and surgical scalped because of its edge retention properties.. you regularly sharpen cutlery as using so it never actually loses an edge.. But a hatchet or axe or working knife? Once you lose this edge you’re never getting it back wo a lot of labor.. completely impractical.. and let’s be honest this profile is not going to be good for splitting anything.. what instead is gonna happen is you’re going to get half way through and the wood is going to lock up around it.. there is a reason axe and hatchets are profiled like they are..
Really like this mission, especially if the air flow pad works as advertised. I like this more than mission 100. If I didn’t already own some modle straps I’d think these would be a so so filler item, but surprisingly, I’ve used them a handful of times and they are more useful than I ever thought they would be. Since I’ll have extra now I may use a set full time on my bike rack to replace some questionable old cracking rubber straps. The backpack isn’t needed but will definitely make it in the rotation due to its adjustable sizing. I tend to always bring home more stuff than I left with. The folder pleases my eyes so much! Excited to see how it feels. I’m guessing my only miss for this mission will be the knife tool kit. I will say that it looks fantastic, it looks like it may feel great in hand even. It’s just that I have those pieces/bits several times over. I do think if I had a cabin, or camper, it would probably make it to one of those places. But unless I fall in love with it, it will be a gift or trade bait. Biggest hit will probably be the lightweight hatchet. I feel like mine current one is too heavy for most needs and a cumbersome size. Having a smaller option to try out is great. Great job on this mission!!
As a partaker of the herbal remedies myself, I can absolutely say: Currin is BAKED. Nice. Also, I'm quick to point out when the box is crap, so I'm just going to say there's nothing in this box that you can't use. Every piece is handy, and I actually think it's better than the 100 box. That's a fantastic buggout bag.
Great mission. I’d still like to see two options of the pro plus. Knife or higher end piece of gear. Like many of us we are fine with the pro plus subscription price however, have 100’s of knifes already and would like the option for more unique gear. 1st world problems. 😂

Omg I thought the hatchet being 420 was bad.. a pack this size being able to go to 60l is horrible! 60l is entering into hiking pack sizes.. there is a reason they are tall not deep… cause the higher you can center the weight and the closer you keep it to the body the better it Carrys.. a pack this size should never ever exceed 35-45l size.. ideal would be 20-25l that expands to 35l.. once you get to 40-45 you want a little more height and once you hit 50-60+ you want a lot more height.. I don’t care if you’re 7’ and 300lbs of solid muscle with the stamina of a mustang.. you’re not loading a pack like this to 60l full pack and going more then a couple miles before you’re going to be hurting and constantly shifting adjusting the straps to attempt to make it more comfortable.. it’s never going to get that way
Any subscribers besides me think that it is strange that they charge your card on file (in my case) on the 15th and your box doesn’t ship until the 4th or 5th of the following month? Yet this guy has the video up for the box on the 7th. I may be missing something here but usually when I pay for a product or service I receive that product or service within a timely manner 4-5 days not almost 30. Just seems kind of ponzi’ish. I sure wish someone could answer the question of why my money is better left in their bank account rather than mine until it was ready to ship. I know that customer service sure didn’t answer the question when I asked it of them.

A freeking leek and a torx bit driver that was in a 20 dollar Walmart Kershaw gift pack 4 years ago as part of the pro plus package.......cool.
