You actually don't need the dongle anymore with the Bluetooth edition, so it's not mandatory to have it, I thought I'd just be precise here. With this new edition, you can choose to use Wireless connectivity, so with the dongle ( provided ) or go dongle free and use the Bluetooth connectivity, which I believe is important for Mac users as they usually don't have any USB ports anymore for the dongle.
I used the Space Mouse (wired) for 5 years or more (i forget) and then decided to get the Space Mouse Enterprise to move many of the controls to a single point without using the Keyboard as much. I still have the Space Mouse and I am glad I started with it and learned to use it and tune it to my liking and preferences before moving to something where it could be "overly complicated for no reason". I think starting with the Basics is always the best approach unbless you feel that you can adapt faster than average. I had no issues learning to use it and I could have gone with a more expensive unit but to be honest the Basic Space Mouse is enough because it will sit right next to the keyboard anyways. The other models are there mostly in my view as "Convenience Items" (also efficiency) and I have no issue with that. Cheers! Stay Healthy and Stay Sane!
I have a 3Dconnexion SpacePilot 3D Pro since years. It's an amazing tool but I don't that the rubber is wearing away. I hope, that they have made some modifications to get it right.
@@MHTutorials3D Comes from the fact that for almost a decade I knew you as the Maya-Guy. 😂. Just joking tho. You probably don't remember, but when you asked your FB Group, many years ago, what to do to amplify the channel, I was one of them suggesting you to tackle a little bit of Bender. So it's not like I'm serious or having an issue with it hahahah.

It's solid as a house. I never had any problems and I got my first one ( enterprise ) 7 years ago.
Brrrr watching Mike showcasing a product in Blender feels like I'm watching a Pal cheat on his Wife 😂
