LOVE your technique and will definitely be trying this!!!! I am an avid user of crochetbraidsplus and I can say that it is worth the price. I have reused this hair up to 4x and it holds up so well. Yes it's synthetic but it truly functions as natural curly hair. I get consistent compliments on it.

Because it's handmade. It doesn't tangle or shed..and it's reusable. You can use it at least 4x's. You get what you pay for.
Is it human hair?
It is virtually impossible to reuse this hair. I mean the time that you have to invest in taking each one out to reuse is just too much time....@kappagamble2815 . I bought my hair from Amazon and got the same look. It looks amazing like hers and I love my new do and it was only $38.

I put mine in November 2023. It still looks new! I have a middle and side part. I also put it up in a ponytail. Its been 4 months already. It never gets old or messed up. Only your edges will. I perm my edges and put gel on it to refresh. Dont know why she took it out so soon. As long as they make this, I'm never buying another kinky curly wig. Its too much work to make the curls. I just put on a bonnet and fluff in the morning. Oil my scalp every couple days. Wash once a month. Moose the hair to pop the curls. I wash the edges like once a week to get the gel out. You can sleep on it, work out, and go swimming. Just buy an extra bag for touch ups. This hair gets a 2000 out of 100!!!
I think you mean 2023, but wow! I’m impressed that you’ve had it in for that long, and it’s still looking great! I was hesitant because of the price, but if I can get that type of wear out of it, and have it still look good, I just might take the leap. 😊

Your hair looks so good! I'm currently wearing the dark brown medium length and I love it!!! I only wish I had made it short like you did. I literally just fluff and go - no tangling at all even when it's been in a bonnet for 2 days! I know it's a little pricey but it's the best crochet hair I have ever worn!!

Thank you so much for showing us this video. I am looking for crochet hair that is light / can blend in with my hair texture or can twist like my hair texture. When I trained for a marathon I experienced a lot breakage from crochet and knotless braid styles that grew and protected me hair for years. I plan to leave most of my edges out to see if it will help.

Thks for showing how you wash your scalp as well as the take town becuz I was curious how both those work if you keep it in longer than 2 weeks. Some ppl said they keep it in for months and I was wondering about scalp maintenance.

My hair doesn't grow that fast so I would let my stay in for 4 months. It's beautiful for a protective style this summer! Don't care if it tangles because I'm going to let it be free. As long as I can get to my scalp, I'm good. Thank you so much for sharing and demonstrating.

I really appreciate your kind words. I would say it can last a few months with good care. Another person commented she’s had hers in for a while. I turned it into a wig so that I can rock this look at anytime.
These are nice looking but be very careful and take your time taking these out. The coils will snag your real hair out. Also, if you have thin hair, make sure you add braiding hair for support.
your video made me buy yanky hair from Amazon and try this method. The technique is undetectable, everyone thinks i dyed my hair but it is completely secured and covered. I want to use all my crochet style with a net now. Have you done any other videos using a net?

Easier way to remove would be to find your last braid and take it out, and they will slide off as you reverse your work.

Beautiful. one quick question to make sure I have the technique down cause I've never thought to install with the wig cap to fill in the part sections. you dont sew the rim of the wig cap down right? Looks like you just secure it with the crochet hair you're attaching. am i correct?
Yes you are right. I didn’t sew the cap down. Adding the crochet hair keeps it in place

Do you know if this synthetic hair would need to be washed prior to installing? I have found this is what I generally have to do with synthetic hair but hoping it’s not the case with this one and its price tag.
You can pre wash it. When I made the wig the hair was already washed. That price tag hurts that’s why I got me that discount code. 😂

I have a question for you. You might have answered it already. Could you tell me how long it took you to put the crochet in your hair?
So you purchased the long length vs the medium and just installed them in half?
And did you cut the loop at the end since you didn't use it?
I have used this hair before and it tangled badly but I noticed that the cleaner the hair, the less it tangles. Maybe that's why you didn't experience any tangles because you didn't use any product.
How did you add shine when it started looking dull?

I purchased the medium and folded it in half because I preferred the shorter look and it basically gave me more hair. I didn’t add any product to the hair. There’s no need to as it’s synthetic hair. HTH

Great great video sis but why not make a wig? Use that net, place on a foam head then crochet. No? Maybe place a crochet row at your hairline, place the wig on yo head and rock out? I didn’t make a wig because I wanted to give a realistic review for those that will crochet it in vs taking it off and wearing the hair whenever I go out. Then you truly won’t know how it holds up.
