you really only want to use the charged tail attack to counter other dinosaurs charge bites, as most things can get out of your range fairly easily before youre able to hit them. also brake checks are nice against things trying to nip your tail like in 6:47.
I'm not sure how different it is on Crimson, but I know your tail attacks are your best attacks. Pivot regularly to keep them moving and hopefully move into your tail range. Use the head slam very sparingly as it's easy to dodge, as seen by the albino chars. Also, if things are in the way of your front legs, try using your trample damage and run through them. I'm no apa expert but these are tips I've heard from other players. Great video! I always find these entertaining and helpful!
Keep stuff on your left at all times that's where your tail as the most reach, ya never wanna actually face tank stuff cause ye don't need to angle the tail and sometimes double leg stomp if they're behind you also back legs do more dmg than you think. Charged tail and regular tail is literally your best kit don't need to fully charge it either, just enough to get them off you and pile bleed on them
Really entertaining!i'd love to be in your videos one day, maybe as a hunting duo in your highlights?I play alot on crimson so i know most of the nerfs and buffs if you dont already
Heres a very dirty tactic when fighting smaller things as apa: look up! When you use your headslam you can dodge a looot of attacks (or at least turn head hits into body hits) if you look up, its such a stupid tactic but hey! It works!
Awsome fights, going against a 1v2 with apexes is mad fun, also maybe to fix the misclicking i run the charge tail swing to lb+rb and the headslam to lb+rt. could try that out in the future
Carchas are the most F up opponent to Sauropods. They can just heal and comeback. Annoying af.. Argent can deal them in oneshot but slow af predictable move.

APAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
very good vidio apatasaurus combat
you need to use your leg attacks more, esp on that sarco fight- woulda been so much quicker

Use the range advantage of the tail if you're passive.
