This song goes with their game BTS World (app). There are 2 stories in the game, a where they join BTS and an alternate story of what they would be doing if the never became BTS. This MV shows bits and pieces from both stories. It's pretty cool!
The song is beautiful because it shows that no matter what happened, the guys 7 universes were destined to all collide and they were going to find it each other even on an alternate life path. The love they have for one another is so very strong. People say the whale in the sky eludes to their song Whalen 52 . Without BTS the boys would to the following:
Taehyung was a farmer
Yoongi was a pianist
Namjoon was a writer/ detective
Jin was a hotelier/ business man
Hobi was a vet
Jungkook was doing Taekwondo or sports in general
Jimin was running a rice cake shop and dancing.
(Oh and Namjoon was actually a doorman in the Dope music video)

Not all of them (well most of them) weren’t what they would be doing, pretty much only taehyung’s story is what he would be doing this is just for their video game bts world.
