When Martin’s (favorite) Aunt Tamsen buys a farm not too far from the town of Torrington, Martin, Diana and Java drive up for the weekend to help her get the farm up and running. At first all is well... the gang spends a successful day planting, painting and plowing. However, things quickly change when, the very next morning, all of the freshly planted crops are found completely lifeless and withered. MD&J quickly realize that an evil force it at work when they find that Tamsen’s potbelly pig, Rex, has turned into barely living, dried out husk! Soon after, the same thing happens to Aunt Tamsen! Ultimately, Martin figures out that a scarecrow hanging out in the field is responsible for all the mayhem. It is inhabited by the evil, disgruntled spirit of the farm’s original owner - and the spirit doesn’t want anyone near his farm - so it’s literally scaring the life out of them! In a b-story, uptight Diana deals with life on a messy farm.
🇺🇸 16 year-old Martin Mystery loves slime and has a wild passion for all things paranormal. Luckily, when he is not at school, he works undercover as an investigator for a secret bureau specialising in mysterious phenomena!
