@@roundregent1679 I mean, Halo 2 had some cut stuff during development, but that hardly makes it on the lower end of the series lol. When you look at the alternatives like Halo 1 having the last four missions being full of rehashed environments and setpieces, on top of having missions you pretty much just play backwards, (presumably due to time constraints.) Halo 3 having a lot of flat out filler missions. Halo 2 losing one or two missions here and there (when it already had the largest count of missions,) isn't really a big deal.
I remember so clearly the first time I got on that Wraith as a kid feeling powerful and indistructuble destroying Brute ghosts ...some of the best memories of my childhood. Halo 2 such an amazing game
“Rue and Woe” one of the best pieces that Marty composed for the series. The original H2 version is the best sounding one too. H3 also has a good version in “Black Tower” during Miranda’s attempted rescue of Johnson and Truth igniting the Halo rings.

Ricardo Perez I had my older brother basically make my childhood for games. If he played Morrowind, I played Morrowind. If he played Halo or COD, I play Halo or COD. Its as simple as that, without him. I wouldn’t know what type of games I would be playing now, or if I would be playing games at all. Halo 2 was like one of the first real games I played that had a story and cutscenes and a shooting experience with it. It’s always cemented in my head on what goes in this game, the graphics, music, lines or dialogue, the art style, guns and plenty more. It’s almost poetic really, it’s basically us in the future and we play as the badass green man, killing all in site. Well, that was my point of view when I was 4 or 5 I think. But halo wasn’t the only thing I played back then. A lot of Crash Bandicoot, Oddworld, Metal Arms, Serious Sam etc. I was the definitive gamer back then. But I pale in comparison to my older brother who got all these games for himself, then to me. Cause when I was that age, he was around 12-16. I’m 17 and I barely get games cause my parents are very strict on it... But yeah, life was simpler back then .... but I’m real sorry you couldn’t enjoy what times you had as a child... maybe you played games like I did but not “Halo 2” until later... I don’t know
I never had Xbox live during the OG xbox days. I had some other games but I would literally replay the Halo 2 campaign all the time. Sometimes I would just play a level because I really liked it or wanted to explore and notice small details in the level.

I find 343, when they remastered the audio, just ended up making their music way too loud. It covers up things that are happening in the game (and I can't find a way to turn it down, which was a real 'what?' moment. There's no audio controls) so I end up playing the original Halo 2 for most of the time I'm playing Anniversary anyway, hahah.
10:07 - 10:38 Esa parte le tienes que subir un chingo en el juego para que se oiga, ya que es cuando Johnson empieza a hablar por radio y esa parte es prácticamente inaudible.

halo 2 is the best halo game ever
I agree. It's a kill play this game hearing the music.
Halo Reach beta in my opinion is my number 1 favorite halo game on my list, but Halo 2 is definitely 1A on my list. This game is awesome.
Marvin Hendges I honestly love halo 3 way more halo 2 was just not completed and that's why it is in my lowest list of halo games

@Marvin Hendges Halo 3 was the best.

Sgt. Johnson was just the best...
When they killed him at the end of 3, oh the fury and disappointment.
the opening cinematic theme has such a "this is definitely the last level in the campaign" feel to it

Honestly, I preferred the original H2 version of this music over the Halo 2: Anniversary version.
Dude kyle welsh i have been finding this soundtrack for years and years and finally
"Tartarus, the Prophets have betrayed us."
The most poignant line read in this game, and perhaps the entire series.

That elite does that every time. It's a scripted event that happens in every playthrough, not some special moment.
