Great interview - I think tho that we could go much more in-depth assuming we got endless time and resources. I think first stages of the attack were ok to be left in basic terms but at the exfiltration point you're so deep in the system and so much work / money has been put into it that I would love to hear much more in-depth explanation of tactics. We assume you already have access to various company communications between security employees so it would be nice to hear we're using that to double down on recon to learn about their DLP solutions and content awareness sensitivity. If you don't know ins and outs of company monitoring solutions at this point you risk getting detected in no time if you're trying to exfiltrate data.
This was a good video, but do they really ask such vague questions ? Felt like the goal was to blurt out as many keywords as possible. Hypotheticals stacked on top of hypotheticals (0days, C2 servers, etc) like wth
It depends! With vague questions, you'll be challenged to think and make decisions in less-than-ideal conditions. While you may never encounter something like this on the job, it can help show you think through unique situations.

Really loved this mock interview. Mo had so many creative ways of coming up with attack ideas!

Pretty cool. Thank you. Is there a copy of the cheat sheet that Mo is referencing on screen? Would be great for study!
