Most of the time when men kept their wives away from family and friends,is not that they love and care to save their marriages but the main reason is about control. Men that does these kind of acts are very controlling and very abusive period! I know evil people when I see one, I think the sister made a mistake by not leaving the marriage, I can discern by his picture. He was jealous of his own wife's spirit. She was the backbone of the church, and deep inside him, he didn't like that, even though he loves her.

I have been through this painful situation with my boyfriend and the only way out was to get out of the Country and disappeared in other to save myself.

It's not easy at all to leave without solid support...not just financial, but psychological and spiritual. Everyone is screaming leave, so easy to say, talk is cheap they say. Same people will run her down, call her names, tell her much of a failure she is, heap all the blame of the abuse on her. Any woman in an abusive marriage or relationship is usually already stripped of dignity, inner strength needed to survive the harsh world and very low in self esteem. There are lots of reasons why a man can stay separate, if a woman snores like a truck, people like me won't stay with her in one room.
I can never sleep with a partner who snores and sleeplessness can cause harm to health.
Spiritually, some men don't like to share room with woman under menstruation.
Some people are allergic to it because of some reasons, some claims it affects holiness, some says it damages their Cha*ms and so on.
There are people who just like to stay alone and do all they want in private.
