  • In The Name of God, The Most Gracious The Most Merciful,
    Running used to be part of my daily regimen for many years. I would run marathons and even run my age in kilometers every birthday. After a year of recovery I am going all in to being able to run better than I have ever ran before (inshAllah). This can only be done for I am willing to put in the effort and hold complete trust in Allah (God) to make the best thing come out of this.

    I intend for this Vlog to encourage those of you who are on their athletic journey to keep going and to keep it simple. As for those of you who have yet to start your journey, may this be the spark for you to see your better you.
    There was ALOT of my day I did not show. For one, I am a Muslim and I fulfilled my obligatory duties, and did my best for the supererogatory duties. Somebody had to do the dishes lol. Made Workouts, Diet Plans, and Athletic Courses. Edited this video while being a full time student (psych major) with finals coming up = a lot of sitting.
    All Praise be to Allah for a Great Life.

    Totally agree with the point you brought up about the differences between running and jumping rope regarding ankle pain. For me, shin splints are the biggest issue while running! What helped me was incorporating ankle-strengthening exercises :)
