    I used to be a social housing property manager. Saw a lot of RCDs that wouldnt trip after "our electrician tested them". I once held down the Test button to show that it wasnt tripping, and heard a little bang from inside the RCD, lol.
    There was one particular brand, Hagemeyer I think it was, that confused people. After it trips, in order to reset it, you have to push it down further before pushing it back up. But the Clipsal ones didnt do that.

      @@3rdalbum I know exactly which ones you are referring to. That was the Heinemann brand. Their switchboards were all over in public places like schools, government buildings etc.
