THE NEVER ENDING STORM || Preparing for a hurricane.

First and foremost we want to make it very clear that the impact we personally felt during this storm was nowhere near what others went through as a Category 4 hurricane, just shy of a Category 5. Thankfully we live here in the US where volunteers are abundant and help is almost immediately available.
As Christians, Philippians 2:4 tells us: "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." It's important that when God puts it on your heart, you follow what you've been tasked with. He's given all of us the commandment to "Love our neighbors as ourselves" Matt 22:39. I pray that each of us follows this in some way. My point is, it's important to make that difference.

About as good at math as I am🤣. One knot equals 1.15078 mph. So maybe that 45ish might be a wee bit stronger 🤪🤣. In Conover, the Fire Department has a city they assist on the coast here in NC when they’re hit by a hurricane. The necessities - water, sports drinks, tp, paper towels, feminine hygiene products, no cook food. They just call everyone on the city call list and ask for help. Easy smeasy! I always wonder about the poor areas of town and how they faired. It’s been my experience, they’re usually last on the list away from the tourist areas. Really glad y’all are safe and your wee boat made it through Ian!
