These tools are presenting Bodekaer Michael are wonderful and great. The potential for a classroom is unlimited. However, the problem is that teachers are unwilling to use these new technologies. For some mysterious reason some teachers do not want to move out of the comfort zone.

wow...this is very interesting I hope it will be applied in our universities....I mean working inside these virtual laboratories will make us memorise way better than reading about it

    Ohhh, Don't stand up!!!! ;)
Other than that, this is very cool. I love the overlay visuals to help visualize what he's seeing. It might confuse the un-initiated into thinking that this is AR, but they'll learn soon enough.

And how about instead of making that "million dollar" machine into a fee hundred thousand? It will more accessible and really very useful. Because that guy who discovered the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer will have no access as well with that machine since it will available only to top exclusive universities and who knows, they might not even lend it to him because that machine is too much expensive.

Great we expect the next generation to come up with all the answers to fix all the problems we created. Most of the problems don't need fixing. WE DO IN OUR THINKING THAT LET IT HAPPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE TO CHANGE or we will just make new bigger problems. I don't understand all the hype and bull shit in these TED there more like a form of brain washing for the privlaged. Would not the well advanced older scientist have a better chance of coming up with the answers given there life time of work in this field over a young scientist just getting started.I share real science that I started work with nothing and no funding and my work only get sanctioned by the USA gov as it helps many understand real magnetic effiency that they don't wish other young minds see to much of. Science is only what your government and the big companies let it to be and these TED talks seem to be much inline with this mentality. Like there using the young speakers like advertisers use puppies or kittens to look nice to all. Adam VA of AVA Magnetic Levitation AUS

It would be horrible if that would be the future of education. Fact is: it works. But why does it work? It works because it provides the student with a purpose for learning by giving learning an immediately-attainable benefit, which is fun. The inner motivation resulting from this system comes with the student seeing a purpose in what he/she does. Therefore it is all dependent on the mindset of the individual, and when that sees a purpose, then we will not have to waste our resources to produce ugly, plastic goggles that make us look like robots.
