    I thought these were made and then go out of stock. But you said you bought these a couple of years ago. That makes me happy! I have difficulty choosing between the 1907s and this one. I think I'm gonna go with the 1907s for now and buy these maybe around April or May. Great video!!

    Nice boots. My summer warm weather boot is the Red Wing Work Chukka.

      I wish I liked the way they look on my feet.

    These are cool boots, thanks for the review. I am seeing comments that they are stopping production on these, but I think Red Wing is putting the brakes on due to an inability to source enough leathers and hardware to keep up production. Have a look at their site, even the Iron Ranger is limited in production. They stopped making the Blacksmith altogether for this year, and it'll probably be next year before you'll see them in stock again. My assumption is that is the case with this model too, but we'll see.

    Great review. Just wish I could find a pair.

      They do seem a little harder to find this year but I’m pretty sure that Red Wing is going to continue making them. Might check with local store or email them!

    Could these be good for winter ?

    • @HeroHeritage

      Depends on where you winter lol. They aren’t insulated at all but with good socks you’d be fine as long as it’s not below freezing.

    How is the fitment compared to other Redwings?

    • @TRTBrah
      @TRTBrah ปีที่แล้ว

      They are slightly narrower in mid foot and have a shallower toe box than IR’s and other Moc Toes. Part of that is due to a nice cushy insole that isn’t really necessary, but if you typically use an insole I would definitely size up!

    Nice review, too bad RW stopped making them.. =(

      Whaaaaaaaa…I had not heard that. Prior to doing the review I asked my local RW store and they said it was going to be one of their heritage products in continuous production. I see the loafer version is still out there so maybe they switched the plans up.

      @@HeroHeritage I’ll be honest sometimes I don’t always trust the salesperson at the stores. Trust me I love the boot and you did a fine job on the review. It’s just sad it’s no longer available. Especially now that the summer is coming. If you look at the website they have it but the last remaining sizes. You got lucky & got one before they were gone.

    What is your go-to boot for warmer weather?

    • @Tharification
      @Tharification 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice review! In the warmer weather I either wear my 8181's or my 9893's - But honestly in the summer months I just wear Birkenstock and sneakers.

      Thank you! Yeah I wear sneakers quite a bit during the worst part of the summer.

      Clarks desert boot. Thursday Cadet. Loafers and bluchers sometimes as well. What’s your go-to sock for hot weather? I have plenty of good choices/brands of medium/heavier weight socks for seasonal and cold weather.
