      Read a dictionary from the 1800’s and look up [BLACK] and it says: PALE, to turn WHITE, the be FADED or BLEACHED by the sun. BLACK, BLANK, BLEACH, BLANCO, BLEGGER, BLEEK, BLÆK. If you’re not PALE or if your skin doesn’t become BLEACHED or FADED by the sun you’re not BLACK.

    Here's the difference. Peasants and serfs were unarmed and free people and lords were armed; that was the difference. That's why in places like Russia no one is allowed to be armed unless they work for law enforcement.

    • @coolyungdru
      @coolyungdru 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @djsmigs 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Facts

    • @wolfumz
      @wolfumz 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This often wasn't by law (at least in Europe, or Rome, for that matter). In England, peasants had to be armed with a longbow _by_ _law_ , and the longbow was pretty high tech for the era.
      Peasants being unarmed was mostly about t was also economics. Arming anyone with iron/metal weaponry was hugely expensive. Someone had to pay, and that's how you ended up with warrior classes and professional soldiers (knights, samurai, etc), the lord had both the capital to pay, and the need to military power.The industrial age and modern engineering changed all that, and reduced the costs of personal armaments.
      IMO, the idea that the 2nd Amendment protects all the other amendments, or that personal firearm ownership is a defense against tyranny, or that the founding fathers wanted it this way, those are all myths. There is no other technology where we look back to what men said in 1790, for guidance on how to handle it. We do not look to the framers for guidance on medicine, transportation, science, agriculture, economics, or even voting rights. That's because it's insane.
      When the founding father's wrote the bill of rights, we were talking about a time when all guns had to be handmade by a tiny number of experts, they were hugely expensive, and half of them did not work. On top of that, gunpowder was so expensive and difficult to procure, that even the US army didn't use it during drilling. The idea that people used guns for self defense is absurd and laughable, much less that the founding father's imagined a world homeowners would buy precision-machined AR-derivatives from retailers.
      But people really, really believe this myth, because it has bee repeated many times. There's no good evidence at the bottom of it, though. You won't find a single historian or expert on the founding fathers who says they intended for firearms to be used to personal defense. That's a modern concept that really only began to exist in the 1930s, and even then, it was an unpopular idea until the 1950s and 60s, when firearms industry groups were able to inject the idea into pop culture and US education.

    In short, we (the African community) need to return to having two parent households, initiate our young and teach them entrepreneurship. By the time our sons are sixteen they should already be growing food & practicing environmental stewardship, know how to purify water and have their own business or educational institution.
    After the tragic nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan did not sit around whining. Japan shut its doors and when they reemerged again, they were a technological giant.
    We must detox from the European psychology and regain control of our young by teaching them how to survive without needing another man, especially from another group of people.

    As a white male my eyes see the truth not the way I wish it to be. I believe that in late 60 early 70s with Motown music the black man was moving up with classy music, sharp suits/ties and positive messages. The establishment got scared saw this and intervened to push the black man's head underwater again. Planting inner cites with the seeds of discord. Take away hope in positive message music and create gangster rap music to destroy communities. This of course an over simplification. It's just a theory that makes sense with me.
