Yes it is :) in 996 form you have the Carrera (rear wheel drive) and then Carrera 4 (all wheel drive). The Carrera 4S has the same wide body and chassis/brake etc as the Turbo.
There are 4 drains at the front lol! In fairness they are obscured by pipework and the battery tray. As you said, best to whip it out to give it a good once over and they do block again quite quickly. Mine were clogged up again after only 3mths
Four! Thanks for the info. Looks like I'll need to do a follow up video! So are the others under the tray? I'll have to take off all the plastics remove the battery and tray and have a root!
@@Griphook1 from memory there are 2 on the passenger side, 1 on the drivers side and 1 under the battery tray. If you do a search for 996 front drains you will find the info on them
Yep, remove the plastic cover to the left of the battery to access another drain hole. You may as well remove all the rubber drain bungs too, since they actually encourage the blockages and hold moisture against the metal.
Nice one! Thanks for sharing! 996revival🙂

What did Darren at unique do for you? Engine rebuild?
