National Park Los Haitises in the Dominican Republic. From your Hotel in Punta Cana or just go there

One of our Tourist attractions here in the Dominican Republic, is the National Park Los Haitises. It’s a nature reserve that easily throws you back a couple of 100 years, when Pirates where still cruising the Caribbean. The Rocks look like they where just thrown into the Bay so boats can hide here before they bring their treasure in one of the Caves. From Bavaro - Punta Cana the the driving time is 2 1/2 half hours, unless you are going slow to enjoy the views already. Tours that are organized from your Hotel or Rep, are mostly a combination where the Parque Nacional Los Haitises is just one part.
If you are traveling by your self, you can visit coming or going to Samana. As well it is a good idea to spend a night or two in the Altos de Caño. The Hotel with the 12 freshwater pools.
The boat ride, starting from the “Sabana Del Mar” side, take you through the Mangroves and into the Bay of San Lorenzo. If you are lucky you can see Dolphins and/ or Manatees. For sure you will see a lot of Birds and it’s not boring at all. All tours stop at one of the old Taino Caves, that where use by the native Tainos for shelter and as Holy Places for their rituals.
Boat Ride and nature are SPECTACULAR and I would just do it over and over again.
All I can say is Travel, Travel, Travel and see the World.
