- Through Peacemaker's life, the Rainwings and Nightwings of his village in the rainforest have kept secrets from him. The secrets of his past. And his destiny seemed straight forward and unchangeable.

That was until he obtained one of Quibli's earrings, and that unleashed a part of him that according to Moonwatcher was supposed to be suppressed and destroyed, Darkstalker, now who is more corrupted and broken than ever thinks of nothing but vengeance against everyone who has betrayed him.

I love that idea- it really feels like it should be canon over DarkStalker just disappearing into a tiny Rainwing-Nightwing body forever
It also makes more sense that pieces of Darkstalker would be left over after he transformed. Changing someone's personality completely when they are unwilling to change themselves doesn't seem realistic, even in a book of magic and dragons.

That didn’t stop him from turning into a dragonet. With his own scroll being used against him, Kinkajou could’ve done whatever she wanted to do to him.
It’s cannon that if peacemaker put in a earring he would turn to dust since it erases all of darkstalkers magic including the immortality thing so sadly this wouldn’t happen
Incredible work everyone, the fast pace has so much happening and it really does convey the feeling of confusion and fear that peacemaker must be feeling.
The palletes of black and yellow, and red and blue are a really effective way of portraying what's internal struggle and what is external

This was so cool! Despite having seen most of the oarts already it was SO COOL to see them all in one piece! And boi wow, all the thumbnails were so perfect for this! I can imagine how hard it was to choose!
AAARRRGGGHHH I LOVE THIS MAP! Peacemaker and Darkstalker are two of my FAVOURITE characters, (well technically one) and the idea for this map is SO CLEVER!

I just realised, Peacemaker’s life is miserable. Well, not exactly.
His future endeavours and his destiny has already been chosen for him, as if he’s like a computer-programmed robot which future is programmed to be simple, no changes whatsoever.
Which doesn’t mean his life is miserable, but not great, either. His whole life is already decided from the start, basically giving him no free will to choose his future.
Foeslayer and Kinkajou should’ve enchanted the strawberry to make it so he is still Peacemaker, but just never able to turn evil.
I get why Tui did this, though. It’s because we needed a “happy” ending for Darkstalker, so we can move on to Arc 3 without having the problem of Darkstalker still unsolved, and so that Tui didn’t have to write any more on Darkstalker than she already has.

I personally love this map because it is a much better result than what happened in the books!! It actually makes you feel sorry for peacemaker, his life being ruined by something he cannot control. I love it, and I hope he can manage to overcome darkstalker's rage and hatred.

I hated Peacemaker before, but I'm kinda starting to like him because of this 👍
I thought the ending was poetic.
Rain wings are not killers. Darkstalker thought they were “worthless fluff balls”.
Kinkajou was probably tired of being beat up and insulted for being a Rainwing.
So with the help of Darkstalker Mom, she used the last scraps of Darkstalker parchment to defeat him....the Rainwing way.
But him coming back would be pretty scary I admit.
