I love reading these clueless comments. Dont care what u guys are thinking cause you werent out there and also dont know me as a person. If you would have a clue you would realize that i live off respect coming from the area I grew up. Im out there encouraging everyone, sitting outside waiting for my turn, letting sets go by waiting for the ones I wanted. The wave tht everyone loves to point out, I was waiting my turn for 20 mins or so on the outside and a paddle-happy guy paddled underneath me, dangerously. Of coarse I went. And after I told him that it wasnt cool and to be safe. Locals and others told me I was in the right and not to worry, because I still felt bad. The other wave he is obviously too deep, I thought that was pretty obvious. As far as the last one from the water shot, its the same wave as the first just from another angle.. Anyways, made a lot of friends out there and the waves were pumping, all good vibes. Only bad vibes is on you tube, but I guess what can I expect from the internet. Have a good day everyone :)

Stefano Fontana thanks for this man I appreciate it, and thanks for the conpliment! But man that day was so good, hard to get waves in the morning and then everyone went in. A short amount of time where the wind wasnt on it too bad and the swell was filling in. The wipeouts was the same day but in the evening where it was a bit chunky. Got really lucky on those, pretty much came straght thru the back on one, the other i didnt hit the bottom but pushed off of it to come up. There was an absolute charger out there and he got raddled really bad on one punned against the bottom so I think I got really lucky considering. Thanks again friend
damn bro, when it's pumping it plays no jokes. I will be there in August for 10 days, then off to Kandui for other 10 days. I feel like I don't want to find it that pumping! Amazing video seriously. Cheers
Pierce Flynn First one was a bit naughty second one no worries. We all dropped in on people and people dropped in on you. Glad you had a good time. Just a bit sad it has changed so much since I went there last. Saying that it was 1994.
Yeah funny- you see a guy drop in and think he's a prick but you can never judge the situation without being there. I've been screamed at for dropping in heaps over the years but when I drop in on someone it is a culmination things. Firstly- I mean it- it's not an accident. It's not usually a pay back either- getting dropped in on once happens get over it. But when rude, greedy guys overtake a line up- ESPECIALLY if they don't rip and aren't from there- the rule book goes away (which is only an ettiquite guide anyways) and it's dog eat dog. And usually they can't handle it. If your a good enough surfer you should have the smarts to take off inside the person dropping in, get under the lip and make the barrel. Generally someone won't drop in on you again after that. Then if they do start trying to retaliate by dropping in on you then the fun really begins. I had two french dudes trying to double team me once and I was pushing, shoving, fading and swerving and just kept getting every wave around them whilst they battled to take me out. It was freakin hillarious and I had such fun. And everyone else in the line up loved it because these guys had been such pricks to everyone. Anyway, great session man and some damn fine tube riding.

Would love to surf Nias but a lot of these spots in Indo and nearby and so hard to get to. You just dont hop off a plane and into the ocean
