Lu Lu candles (Amazon) jasmine, Oud, and Sandalwood. Smells like a boogie store or spa. ❤❤❤❤

Bath & Body Works stopped making my fave fall candle Cider Lane (which smelled like a not-too-sweet caramel apple-it was so perfect), but I found what I think will be a dupe at Goose Creek Candle Company. Candy Apple Lane is the scent. Haven’t burned it yet as it’s still in the 90s here and I just can’t get into it yet. But upon cold sniff, it smells wonderful! Crossing my fingers for it. I gave up on Yankee and B&BW candles. Enjoy your cozy candles.
I’m sure they will bring Cider Lane back. I bought 2 last year. Sometimes they will only sell it online. It’s not my favorite, but I wanted to try it.

Kansas Earth and Sky Fireside Merlot is right up your alley Peter! It's a small local company here in KS and the scent throw is fab. They are a little pricey but are quality 👌. They do a 10 Oz candle subscription box too, that could be fun!

I love Burke & Hare Co candles. They're an online store. My favorite so far is Black No. 1. It's a very woodsy, spicy, scent with a hint of floral.

I love going to Burlington, TJMaxx, and Ross for my candle obsession 🤩 the only thing that sucks about going to those places for candles is that you likely won’t find the same one again.

I LOVE candles too! I really like the DW home brand ones from TK Maxx. And I love a pine balsam scent for the winter. That fireside one sounds lovely, will look out for that

I do not have any candles!!! I used to burn them all the time going to start again the fall. My issue is I burn some different kinds they interfere with each other. I am going to start. using the candles. I LOVE Birthday cake candles.
A little on the pricey side, but Boy Smells and Malin + Goetz both have some excellent options!

I splurged on yankee candles this year I thought they were supposed to be nice dang it.💙💙💙
In my opinion Yankee candle has really come way down. My last two purchases (big orders) were so disappointing. They did not throw a strong scent at all. They use to be the best,but not anymore.

Do you have a Christmas Tree candle that actually smells like a tree? Nothing seems to hit the spot. I grew up with fresh trees but I have an artificial now.
My favorite scent is Pink Apple Punch from Bath and Body Works. Only it’s a spring scent and they didn’t have it in the Wallflowers this year so I’m afraid they’re pulling it. 😩 I think I have 3 candles of it (more like 2 and a half now) and I’ve squirreled away a few Wallflowers but it’s getting thin …
Goose Creek has a fantastic Christmas tree one. One called “ Forest” and another one right now called “ Forest pine trees”. They have a sale right now for 10.99 which is a great price. Normal life they are much higher.👍🏻 Christmas time they have more to choose from for tree scents.
We really like the Wood Wick Fraser Fir and Thymes Fraser Fir. Nice and piney, but not really Christmasy.

Peter be careful with the burning of essential oil candles. My daughters seizures are triggered by burning certain essential oils! Specifically the Magnolia ones. from Target.

Yankee candles stop making all my favorites. I just stopped getting them. Mountain Laurel, sunflower and Christmas Wish. When they replaced Sunflower with Sunflower days or fields or whatever, I started noticing a more plastic smell to their candles. I do like the sage and citrus car smell but I have moved on. (Christmas Wish was the perfect Christmas sent. 😢)

I *love* that stupid "Sweater Weather" scent from Bath and Body Works *BUUUUUUUUUT* ... I only love the body stuff -- the "home scent" has some kind of different scent note added, or missing, or SOMETHING.
Would you buy a lotion or something (it's a very gender neutral scent and could definitely get used by you and your husband) and a candle, and HELP ME FIGURE OUT what the difference is???? Or help me find a dupe -- a candle that ACTUALLY smells like the *BODY* version of Sweater Weather??
