Im not a fan of release papers either. I do have a logbook but its literally a small notebook from the dollar store. I did get the metal tips because I kept breaking the plastic ones. Got a cheap set from amazon :)

The release papers are too much tbh. And I love my log book but I know ideally it is kinda out of the way to have especially if you’re not actively trying to keep it after it’s filled up
