The main complaint of death magnetic was it's mixing and it's compression loudness, 72 seasons by comparison has so much richer mix with depth and riffs that often go straight to the point. even tho i do like death magnetic too because it just has sooo many cool riffs, it is a good inspiration and i think both hardwired and seasons are like much more refined confident versions of death magnetic ideas sort of :)
