I'd definitely love to see this show more often! Maybe a monthly box office discussion? I'd even watch it weekly.
The fact that Dave got cut off at the end was just the cherry on top of everything else that happened. The troubleshooting was truly gripping viewing.

Truly, this is beautiful. The look of defeat on David Chen when saw he was back to using the truly awful sounding headset microphone.
I can’t agree with the choice to keep in 20+ minutes of audio troubleshooting, but “the look of defeat” was soul-stirring!

Hilarious show, the look of resignation & defeat on Dave's face at certain times :) Completely take on board Scott's point about movies with black leads doing better overseas than was unfortunately thought historically possible, BUT even the more successful movies of recent years with multiple black leads (not just Will Smith on his own) like both Black Panther & Spider-Verse movies, all 3 Creed movies, The Woman King as well as all 3 of Jordan Peele's movies have all struggled to fit the traditional 40/60 domestic/foreign splits of similar movies! There's a pattern here and this can't solely be down to over-performance domestically for all these movies?!
Am I the only one who finds Mendelson's constant interrupting and talking over Dave infinitely more annoying in this stream, than his tech issues? At least the tech issues are funny. I legit lost it when the chipmunk voice kicked in.
