They can never take responsibility for their actions and are always projecting onto others, even though they are the only one creating problems by being selfish and impulsive. They have no one to blame but themselves and now that they are on medical leave for a month (for something that takes much longer than a month to heal from, but they arrogantly think they can recover faster), they have plenty of time to reflect on what they've done and who they really are. Basically, they are completely miserable.
